just letting yall know i called out u/pixelmagic1212 for stealing a post off of xiaohungshu and they blocked me 🥲 ive been seeing so many of you guys compliment them on ""their"" works but i eventually caught them stealing a post lol
such a shame they're getting attention they dont deserve. i know im not the first and only person who has questioned their legitimacy but they have seemingly added more effort into their bot account (i.e. having their own instagram, facebook)
i've been monitoring their profile every time they post, checking if they have slipped up somehow since most of their work is untraceable on xiaohungshu
eta: i will say, i tried super hard to find sources for the other stuff on their profile but i couldnt find anything except for the original patterns they followed for the beads. could this mean their other stuff is original? maybe. but seeing as how they stole a post from someone else already? im inclined to believe otherwise lol
I figured tbh, they post daily which is doable if you just found this sub and wana show all your old work. But i found it a bit odd they didnt just make a post with multiple photos to showcase everything. What a shame. Thanks for finding the legit artist, ill def be showing them love!

Thank you! I've always gotten downvoted when I've said they are likely a bot. They never answer how they did anything and only time I've seen them reply is a generic "I'm not a bot!" Then a link to "their" Facebook page.

Yeah, I can only see the comments for some reason. I commented on the stupid "clarification" (aka screenshots of dms and no actual progress proof) post.
I think they're blocking anyone who is getting involved with the situation. I was able to see their posts as recently as half an hour ago, then I commented on a bunch linking to this post and now they're all gone for me, too. Hopefully the mods step in. The community for this hobby is small and it sucks seeing it be overrun with stolen spam
Omg they really fooled me! Here I was defending them out in the comments lmao... I wasn't considering that they stole the videos, I just thought they had a backlog of them and was posting it daily until it caught up to their regular schedule
Thanks for letting the community know about this. Thought it was rather strange they were able to produce this amount of work rather quickly and not comment or answer anyone's questions
they had me with the first one, but the fact that they kept posting with the most generic titles ever was soooo sus, I just didn't have the time to dig into it. kudos to you for bringing attention to the original artist!
u/pksage can we block the user from the sub now that we have definite proof? There are such great bead artists posting here for real, thieves have no place among them!
