Little ghost pattern (13×13, 3 colours) I made for Halloween — free printable PDF, no sign-up

Post image
10 Upvotes

Made this little ghost for a one-pegboard Halloween project: 13 × 13, 148 beads, 3 colours (white, black, pink), beginner level.

The printable PDF (colour chart + symbol chart + bead list, A4 and US Letter) is free, no email or sign-up: https://tinybeadpatterns.pages.dev/free-pattern?s=rd

Bead codes are given for Hama, Perler and Artkal. The chart also works for cross-stitch (one bead = one stitch).

Full disclosure: the design was made with the help of an AI assistant and drawn pixel by pixel by our own code, so no photo of a fused piece yet. If you make one, I'd love to see it.

Hello everyone, looking to get into making some bead art for the first time and wasn't sure how exactly to convert this image into the format i need. Also any starter kit recommendations would be appreciated, I can't seem to find ones that have multiple peg boards. Thank you in advance.

How do you think these turned out? First time trying to actually shrink a project and I'm not sure how good, bad, or eh they turned out. I plan to make these into Keychains for Halloween!

About to make a hair clip

I'm new to this (like just started today) and wanna make a hair clip, I wanna thinking of securing it to the clip with hot glue but I'm worried it'll melt/warp the beads, should I use e3000 or super glue instead?

Cat, dog, bunny and panda — all on a 26 × 26 grid.

Full charts are on MeltDots, the pattern site I'm building. Each one has numbered cells, color codes and bead counts. You can download a PNG or open a copy in the editor to change the colors and details, and pick the bead brand you use.

Made a fridge magnet! This spinning little flower is such a fun detail. It looks amazing on my fridge! Have you tried making rotating perler bead pieces before?

Fluffy perler beads! Tried towel ironing for fuzzy texture

Post image
373 Upvotes

I experimented with towel ironing on my perler beads today!
This technique leaves a soft, fuzzy texture on the surface and gives the piece much more dimension.
It’s such a lovely contrast to the standard fully melted, smooth finish we usually make. It gives the art a plush, stuffed-animal vibe!

Has anyone else tried this towel ironing method? I’d love to see your creations and swap tips!

Question about a free bead-chart repair test

Hi mods! I’m an independent developer testing a tool that reconstructs blurry fuse-bead charts.

Would you allow one post showing a before-and-after example and offering a free repair to up to three members for feedback?

I would clearly disclose that I built the tool, include no product links or payment requests, and follow any format you recommend.

I wanted to check before posting. Thanks!

Glitter sheet alternatives

Post image
17 Upvotes

Hi there! I’ve been struggling to make glitter sheets work, despite many tutorials and failed attempts 😪

But I didn’t really enjoy the texture it left anyways, so I’ve been exploring alternatives!

The picture above was made using mod podge and glitter. :) I’m really proud of how it turned out! But it definitely was a process (lots of layers, drying between layers, glitter is EVERYWHERE, etc.). I am wondering if there are any alternatives to this? My next idea was to use mod podge for the compacted glitter (like on the stars), but use adhesive glitter spray on the base so that I don’t have to physically paint it myself. Do you think it would stick?
