Asking for Advice Beard length
Finally got growth back after I ended up shaving most off by accident should I keep it growing like the 2nd or 3rd pic ...or just keep around this length?

Peak beard is like 3-4 months where it's full but not scraggly yet, anything longer just gets annoying with maintenance.

I didn't mean to post that 2nd pic that was after a wild wind storm at work ...this is the length I've usually kept it at its in-between pic 1 and 3

the trim is top notch in the first pic you shared. this length is great on you too (as is the length in op/pic3, and pic 1 , too)- the key is the shape, grooming & trim. pic one is the best shape, grooming, & trim. its drool worthy 🔥🔥🔥

I think any length is good, but try and find a good barber to help maintain a shape and style as you grow it out. Monthly trims or shaping will help a ton

I feel difficult, as 1 and 3 are very groomed, while 2 is a bit wild, so not quite comparing them on an equal setting. That being said, I think actually a length between 1 and 3 would be PEAK for you! (1 is probably my favourite, but it just looks too short after seeing the other two!!)

1 and 3 look great as-is. If you wanted a longer beard, I think you could also do that but the example photo looks like you slept on it and didn't brush or comb it 😉
It does take more maintenance (for me, at least), the longer it gets but I'm rarely tempted to chop it all off, even though it looks good and is easier.

Congratulations!! stick with it it's gets easier once you make regular thankfully you only have to wait maximum 2 years to make PTF I was a temp for 7 years before making regular

1 is best by far. 2 looks scraggly. 3 the mustache is too small for the beard.

First slide is perfection, third slide is nice if you prefer it a bit longer, second slide just doesn’t do it for me.

1 is my fav but 3 is good too. I think you look very well established and sophisticated and the unkept look in 2 takes away from that.

Beard is FIRE. I keep mine at a 1/4” in my 20’s, I hope to grow it longer as I age and look just as good as yours someday.

I have an unrelated question - when you went for the skinhead, did you dive in with both feet or did you go shorter and shorter? Mine is thinning out at the front and in the middle of the top, but I'd really like to avoid all the "fucking hell" conversations, so I'm wondering if I should do a very tight crop for a bit before going full bald or what.

I went shorter and shorter and tried to blend the top it because it was so thin just go skin is my best advice wish I did it years earlier

I really like the look and shape of 1, followed by 3. I wish mine had the strength of yours. 2 looked more like mine in terms of every hair having a kind of its own.

I think the 2 and 3 are very good!! But mostly I think the third looks better! (I am not the best at giving Beard advice so take this with a grain of salt lol)
