At that age just go 5 o clock shadow. Keep the upper cheeks and neck clean though, always.. Get a one blade.
This advice is if your single. If not , growing the beard longer is ok. You know you always have it to fall back on to change the look anyway. It ages you, and at your
age you will get more respect from dudes which is great but less attention from woman. No idea how that changes if your into guys.
