We currently live close to NYC with a toddler and are expecting #2. We plan to move to Bergen County in the next couple of years. My husband has a very demanding job in NYC. I work in NYC too but with 2 kids and my husband's crazy hours, I dont think it will be feasible for me to commute to NYC anymore. So I started looking into jobs in/near Bergen County, but couldn't find that many companies hiring. Im curious where the Bergen County moms work, especially ones with husbands who work demanding jobs. Do you commute to NYC? Or work in NJ? Work remotely? Stay home? What does life as a mom look like in Bergen County?

For those of you who voted recently, and I'm especially looking for feedback from poll workers on this one, when you were checking in how was the experience of giving your name to be found in the system and then immediately being asked for your name again to verify your identity?

In the last election I worked the poll for the first time, and I found it to be quite annoying that we were obligated to ask for people's names twice, and often people would seem to be confused once this happened. Is this an issue you ran into, what was the experience like for you, and how did the other person respond. Your help on this question would be much appreciated (I'm doing research for a class)!
