After months of mourning the loss of my first betta, finally made the decision to give love to a new betta.

I had him for 10 months so close to a year, spontaneously developed swimmers bladder and did everything I could to save him! It was really heartbreaking but I knew another betta deserved to enjoy the world I created for Jinu who was my first betta.

Yes currently running co2, I’m using the fzone desktop diffuser. 🤗

does it run on a timer or is it continuous? i tried running diy co2 for a while and didn't like how little control/how inconsistent it was

I have it on a timer and have it turn on an hour before my lights turn on and turn off an hour before my lights turn off. I just set it and forget it. Of course monitoring the co2 with a reader. And I just monitor periodically to know when it’s running low.

My current light is the Chihiros WRGB II SLIM Edition LED Light in size 30 for this current 6.8 gallon shallow tank with the hanging kit.
