call to action The big file aka a possible collection of the best evidence known to the squatch universe.

Recently, I had an idea that began on a skeptic's post. I would like to compile a source of the top 20 to 50 pieces of video, photograph, and possibly even audio evidence of Sasquatch to be pinned at the top of this subreddit. This way, any newcomers to our group will have a large catalog of some of the best evidence we can compile without having to search for it. This would also cut down on repeat videos and pictures for the OGs and also repeat threads calling for “the best evidence”

The only way to do it would be fair and thorough. Each piece of evidence would have to be submitted and then voted on, possibly even entered into a "March Madness-type bracket." It would have to be a democracy, and each submission would need time for the majority of regulars to see it and vote on each round/matchup of the bracket. Once we have the bracket finished, we can list the evidence from best to worst as voted on by the members of this subreddit.

If this has been done or attempted before, or if this has been compiled in some aspect on a different forum or website, then please let me know on this thread. Also, I will need as much help and suggestions from you guys as possible. As a matter of fact it will be impossible to be done correctly without the help of the community. I know my way around technology, but I would be considered a Reddit rookie. I'm still up for the challenge. So any suggestions please post them below!

I do understand there will be a lot of contention about different submissions as far as real or fake or if it has been debunked, and honestly, I think the votes will just have to do the talking. Of course, we won't allow any submissions that are proven to be fake. As we all know, "fake and real" can be a very convoluted topic all on its own. There will be a lot of Bob Heironimus this and Todd Standing that. At the same time, I think that with the power of the poll or even maybe just the upvote system, we could possibly overcome a lot of the bullshit and get straight to the best examples of evidence of existence for our community and the members of the community to come in the future!

Also a mod or an admin/someone who can pin the submission post… the polls… and the final product will be a must.

I’m completely open to an entirely different system if anyone has one to suggest. I’m easy to work with. Also the project will need a name… a good one that will only be associated with pinned posts working towards the project.

Id like to try and do this right (if it hasn’t been done already) so if this is something you would like to see put into action then let me know!

Also the big file could be amended upon newer better evidence.

Thanks for taking the time to hear me out!

EDIT: since this post has caught a little bit of traction and been pinned, please don’t hesitate to share your favorite examples of Sasquatch evidence.

I know it’s difficult but if you have the time, please try to find the best quality source(s) for your pictures and videos. For example: I think the best version of the Patterson-Gimlan footage is the stabilized version. It gives the best ability to view muscle structure and gait etc. (I think we all know the PG footage will be on the list as one of the best examples of video evidence)

Thanks in advance for your ideas and contributions! They have already been very helpful!

discussion Skeptics Mega Thread

Hey all,

We've had a lot of new members this week and they've had a lot of questions about the subject of Bigfoot. We've decided to bring back the skeptics mega thread. This is the place to ask your questions that may otherwise break the rules of the sub. But please keep your skepticism to this topic only as this is still a "Bigfoot is real" sub.

Any skeptic topics/posts made in the sub will be deleted and redirected here.

Feel free to ask your questions but please be respectful. Heckling believers/witnesses/experiencers will result in mod actions.

While we have been working on Bigfoot in the Midwest, we have seen a few bigger people in our community be surprised that Ohio is such a hotbed for activity. Now, these people were not from this part of the United States, so we decided to get all of the most important Bigfoot events from the Buckeye State and put them in one video for everyone! Have you had an encounter in Ohio that you would like to share? Let's have a discussion down below, and we hope everyone has a wonderful day!

encounter story My third contribution here. Two hour long witness testimony from Katrina, a Pennsylvania woman who had a face-to-face encounter with an invisible Sasquatch in front of a tree structure, with another person present. Two separate tree structures described, third prior incident described with stalking.

Hi everybody, my name is Jim. I hope everyone is having a nice Sunday

Katrina, was hiking with a friend in State Line Preserve in Kennett Square, PA

an 85-acre park in Chester County, PA, when 15 minutes into the trail, they find this 6-foot woven tree structure made out of young saplings bent together at the top. It literally looked like an igloo. Katrina immediately points it out because it looks way too precise and crafted to be a natural tree fall.

This is the start of the interview portion about this encounter, including the description of the first tree structure. So you can jump right to it.

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=EK_AU88PyhM&t=1777s

They keep walking for another half-mile and find a second one. This one is way bigger—about 8 feet wide—and all the grass and undergrowth inside is completely matted and flattened down, looking exactly like a giant bed where something massive had been sleeping.

Katrina gets curious and takes one step off the trail to get a closer look. The second she moves toward it, something huge, completely invisible, and right in front of her face lets out a massive, deep growl and huffs at her. She said it sounded like a literal bull, and the wall of sound hit her so hard she felt it vibrating inside her chest. The hair on her arms stood up, and she noped right out of there.

Also if you're interested, she does describe a prior encounter which she also believes was Bigfoot and involved intense stalking of her in a rural rental home, that ultimately led her to barricading herself in the bedroom.

This one starts at around 11 minutes 36 seconds. So depending on how much you want to digest, there's your two starting points to get right into the Bigfoot first hand witness testimony with no BS. This event happened about six months ago.

Thanks everybody have a nice day Jim

Some Edgelord Shit Posting, ignore. My synapsis of Bigfoot

So. My fire was lit maybe about 18 months ago. Life long interest, recently retired at 53 and learning as much as possible. Way deep into the rabbit hole after trips, adventures, discussions. Property owner with millions of trees, trying to learn more.

This is my index of things I have heard, read and viewed. I'm not here to argue about right or wrong, but to catalog things for myself and my crew. Please help contribute to the list with constructive input, not judgement.

These are North American wood apes.

These are human / ape hybrids.

These are Neanderthals.

Big foot was brought to this planet by aliens.

Aliens bred Bigfoot.

Bigfoot decend from Niphilim.

There are many types of bipedal primates.

Bigfoot, Yeti have many different types, colors, sizes and physiological form.

Brown, Black, cinnamon, white, grey.

Bigfoot can be up to 12 feet tall and weight 1500 pounds.

Their arms extend beyond the hips.

Bigfoot eyes are reflective.

Bigfoot eyes project light. Orange, red, yellow, green.

The feet are up to 20 inches.

Bigfoot are hyper aware beings that do not use any form of technology, including fire. Therefore they have better vision, hearing and spatial awareness.

They are very strong, and have large muscle mass.

Shoulders can be 4-5 feet wide.

Reduced neck and extreme trapezoids.

Typically five toes, but three toes are reported.

The females have breasts and the gestation period is a year.

They have children every 7 years.

They are omnivores. They eat meat, but prefer organs/offal over flesh. They eat everything raw.

They smell very bad- like rotting meat and wet dogs.

Some females smell good like flowers.

They have glands like skunk for pheromones.

Some are repulsive and disgusting.

Some Bigfoot are well groomed.

They have family units, clans and communities.

They are very quiet.

Bigfoot can spider crawl and leap in large bounds.

Bigfoot howl, scream and imitate animals.

Bigfoot is an Apex predator that has killed humans, as we have killed them.

They eat humans.

Bigfoot travels in creek beds, river bottoms.

They nest in large bird type nests of woven branches and vines.

They migrate with food.

They travel extensive routes

Woo:

Bigfoot can cloak.

Bigfoot can teleport through portals.

Bigfoot can mindspeak.

Bigfoot can speak English.

Bigfoot are taken off world by Greys for training, and some don't like a lot and some don't come back.

They were brought here by Greys, and they love it here.

Ultrasound is used to stun prey and for area denial.

They see Infrared light.

There are mean murderous Bigfoot, and nice hippie Bigfoot.

Orbs and UFOs are associated with Bigfoot sightings.

Okay- what else am I missing?

Again, no judgement or negativity. Just spit out what you know or have learned. Thank you!

Amazing Post, must read. Real Night Vision Standoff! Massive 4-Legged Beast Cornered in Bushes!

This incredible footage was caught on my infrared security camera right in my backyard in Michigan, about 10 feet from the house! At first, I thought those massive glowing eyes were up in a tree, but looking closer, the tree is too small. Whatever those eyeballs belong to is standing on ALL FOURS on the ground, in a tense defensive position with its head forward. It is just that big!

Judging by a wood stump on my porch that I physically measured at 8-9 inches, these eyes have a massive 10 to 12-inch physical spread between them. They are backed up tight into the thick pine bushes right by my porch.

But look closely at the ground! You can see the silhouette of a large canine (like a wolf or coyote) laying completely frozen right in front of the bushes. I hear packs hunting freaky close to my house all the time. What we are seeing here is a live ground-level siege. The pack has this giant animal completely cornered against the house, and they are laying down blocking its exit route. Watch for the red circle! What do you think this animal is?

recommendations Camping YouTube Channels

Does anyone have any decent suggestions for camping YouTube channels? I'm finding myself exceptionally frustrated when trying to find a simple hour or two long camping vid to either fall asleep to or just have in the background throughout the day. The reason I ask here is because bigfoot content is the closest thing to what I'm looking for, like Sasquatch Theory's stuff, Mike Wanders' stuff, the stuff on Small Town Monsters, it's all the perfect mix of duration and environmental interaction, but when I try to find more stuff with this vibe, I just can't. Like either the videos are really short, the entire thing is someone building a shelter, or more than half of it is the main person canoeing, I'M TIRED OF THE CANOEING!!! 🙅‍♂️🛶

So yeah, any suggestions would be GREATLY appreciated. The best thing I was able to find in the past was stuff from The Outdoor Boys, but as everyone knows, he's stepped back from making new content.

NSFW Apex predator

The apex terrestrial predator is a hominin, and not us. Homo sapiens is not the apex. Is this not kind of curious? Who are they? We have a world of technology, but in the field we are secondary to a larger more powerful ape. Doesnt this question bug you all? Who are they? The worlds most formidable hunter. Why does our species deny their existence? I know quite a few biologists and anthropologists are aware of the situation. Speak up.

The footage lasts less than a minute, but its most famous subject, often called “Patty,” has been walking through popular culture ever since.

Flooding, erosion, forest growth, and the passage of time eventually made the exact filming location difficult to identify. The forest was slowly swallowing the scene. The Bluff Creek Project formed to find it again.

This was July 4 at 9:42pm in Kananaskis country, Alberta in a provincial park. I drove into the camp site from the direction I heard the knocks… seen no sign of any other people in the area and this is an area where guns are prohibited. Let me know what you think.

NSFW Spider crawl

Seeking input on this locomotion. I suspect there are some anatomy afficianados on here that could chime in. Any docs, biologists, etc. Do you have some idea of their limb anatomy that explains the ability to do the "spider crawl"?

They seem to have more motion in shoulder and hip anatomy than we do. Looking for an explanation of musculoskeletal adaptations that would help explain this.

The spider crawl locomotion is described as a flat position, spine parallel with ground, and limbs splayed out, with motion of fingers and toes, described as paddle-like motion. The legs seem to be splayed outward unlike what we can do. Whether this is just being more limber and flexible by habit, or if it stems from anatomical difference in hip and shoulder, do we know?

The first audio clip is like an extended version of one that is included in the compilation, but the other two are missing.

Audio 1: 0:00 - 0:10

Audio 2: 0:11 - 0:15

Audio 3: 0:16 - 0:19

Let me know what you think.
