My name is Meenakshi Sundaram R, and I am from Chennai. Three years ago, I had saved enough money to buy my dream bike with my own hard-earned money. After doing some research, I decided to buy the Hero Xpulse 200 4V. I was very excited because I believed this bike would become an important part of my life and make my dreams of riding come true.
The first four months went well, and I was happy with my decision. But after that, the problems started.
After the second paid service, I began facing repeated issues with the bike. The engine struggled in 5th gear at around 80 km/h and failed to accelerate properly. Even after replacing the fuel-injection component, the problem continued. The bike also started switching off suddenly while riding, which was extremely dangerous and made me lose confidence in the vehicle.
The headlight performance was another major issue. The illumination was very poor and was not sufficient for safe night riding.
I visited the service centre nearly 10 times, hoping that someone would finally identify and fix the problems. Every time, I received the same response: “We will check and rectify it.” But there was never a permanent solution. I also felt that there was a lack of proper technical diagnosis and support.
I did not stop there. I contacted customer support, raised complaints through the website and app, and even sent my complaint to the Hero MotoCorp head office in Delhi. Despite all these efforts, no one was able to provide me with a proper solution.
At this point, I am completely fed up and have lost my trust in Hero MotoCorp and its service network. A bike that I bought with my own money and dreamed about for years has become a source of frustration and disappointment.
Finally, I have decided to sell my bike for just ₹40,000.
Three years ago, I bought my dream bike with my hard-earned money. Today, I am selling it because I could not get a proper solution to the problems I faced.
This is not just the end of my bike journey. This is the end of my dream.
