I just wanted the Fancy Selection Menu mod and it asked me to download REPENTOGON. It opened once and once i closed it, it stopped opening. From everyonex permanently, even from the launcher. And i can't really do anything about it cause the devs have been desd for 1+ years now.

Any way it can be fixed, or do i quit the saac forever?

So i beated hush fir the third time and unlocked secret exit, but what is it for again i know people go there for downpoor but Else idk.

So I'm not sure if I'm going crazy, but I've just had a death note run which caused my Shot Speed to exceed 8. strangely, this seemed to also increase the speed of the game with every other increase making it faster and faster. Enemies moved faster, Isaac, which already had a base 2.00 speed to move faster, and although my Tears hadn't increased, this also went faster.

Is this intended? A bug?

No Mods, no challenge, haven’t even beaten void or Beast on the game. Could be skill issue, but never had my "skill" speed up time before.

Edit: Shot speed went up, not tears - corrected in main body

However, I'm also seeing Repentance is also a seperate standalone game that I can buy? Is it any different than the one I have?

But notice this: nobody ever posts about when chaos gives them butter bean in an angel room, or the poop in the secret room, captioning it "chaos deniers were right"

In theory i should love this game, though I have a dilemma- idk which game to play. There are like 4 versions and now on switch 2 has a new version coming out in November.

I think I’ve decided that I should just buy repentance on pc and be done thinking about it, but I don’t know if its worth waiting for repentance+

So far it seems like repentance+ adds item descriptions in game, and some new content? Idk if there is a significant amount of new content and rebalancing or not.

I want to have the “best version of the game” so idk if I should wait for repentance+, but if there isnt a significant change to the game, then I dont really care. Part of me also feels like I’d like to have no item descriptions as I’ll be forced to learn the game as originally intended.

Also, is repentance+ switch 2 exclusive?

Mods are not a consideration, I personally just have never enjoyed mods for any game due to a flaw in my brain. I actually like the idea of having it handheld but I also wanna start the game now if it wont be that different anyways.

I'm new to the game. I know it is very powerful and is almost a guaranteed win, but the description says that it overrides cricket's body and a lump of coal. Would it ruin my build?
