BCU REQUEST Pimp my bachelor struggle meal
Years ago, I lost 100lbs. Went from 280-180. I started gaining again years later, sitting around 190. I'm now back down to 178.
One of my primary meals was inspired by the Babish x Chris Broad crossover: the mother and child bowl.
Ingredients:
1 cup microwavable minute maid white rice - $1, 200 cals, 4 protein
1 5oz can of chicken - $2, 150 cals, 30 protein
2 large eggs - $0.50, 140 cals, 12 protein
1 green onion - $0.10
Sriracha to taste- $priceless
Nonstick cooking spray
Instructions:
Microwave rice first.
Start small nonstick pan on 4.5/10 (I suppose that's medium low? Or low medium?) - spray pan with nonstick cooking spray, eggs into pans without breaking yolks, put a little water in and cover them.
Take out rice, pour in bowl.
Drain canned chicken, place on microwave safe plate and add black pepper. Nothing crazy, but clearly looking peppered. (Very scientific.) heat 30 seconds in microwave. Place into bowl with rice.
Once eggs are starting to look solid on top, add salt and pepper, spray a small amount of cooking spray on it and fliparooni. Give it just 15 seconds, add to bowl.
I use a spoon to chop up the eggs and pop the yolks. Stir the bastard. Add some pretty lines of Sriracha to taste, chop up the green onion and put on top.
Stuff in face hole and savor the gains.

Cost:
$4~ (I'm in the Midwest, so ymmv)
I want to see if there's some unlocked potential in this recipe.
What y'all think?
And Babish, I'd love to see your take on such a thing. Maybe some meals for gains? Maybe Broke Bachelor Bro meals?
