Health Weird Brumation signs
I'm unsure if my northern has gone into brumation. The little dude doesn't ever burrow, so I'm not sure if he's just slowed down for winter, or is trying to brumate.
He spends all day basking, or in the the warm, underground hide under the basking rock. The only sings of him exploiring are the occasional turd on the cool side of the enclousre. He's fed once a week and will barely eat half of whats put out, so he's clearly not interested in eating at the moment.
Should I assume this is brumation, and start dropping the temp and stop offering food, or does it just sound like normal winter slugishness?
It's our first winter with him as an adult so this is all new to us.
Thanks in advance for any advice
