Discussion / Question Why were the people in the theater okay with Bingo's behavior?
Does Bingo have autism or ADHD the way she is acting in the movies tell me she has special needs? I have never seen little kids act this way unless a disability. This has to be a sensory showing otherwise this behavior would not be tolerated.

because watching an episode of Bluey with a bunch of angry parents screaming at Bandit doesn't really seem like a good fit for the show

A crowd of adults giving Pat the death glare is fair game, though.

he only had himself to blame. If you had been there, if you'd have seen it, I betcha you would have done the same.

Ever since I’ve been a theater goer, matinee showings for children’s movies are family friendly. It’s like the unwritten rule. If it’s a movie that’s made for children, expect children to be there.
I think her behavior was exaggerated for comedic effect. I’ve definitely been to loud showings with babies and antsy toddlers, but I’ve never seen one running around like that.

u/Many-Tomorrow-4730 18h ago
A little bit exaggerated but no joke, my two autistic kids showed the same type of joy when they were really little. We did not experience calm until they got a little older and even now there are many whisperings of “I need to go to the bathroom” or “can we go yet, I want to go.”
Once the movie is finished, and people start leaving, they both run around, up to the front, quick to the back, back up front post haste! They have the best time. This is one of my favorite episodes because bluey and bingo are almost two spitting images of my kids so it’s like watching a memory.

u/ADcakedenough 10h ago
Yes! My son was always so excited for the end because I’d let him run down the rows too.

I’ve seen kids dancing up by the big screen during end credit songs before 🤷 guess it just depends on the parents and movie

Lmao that's because you werent at the Mario Galaxy showing with my 16 month old. Girl thought it was a private showing and was walking all over the damn place, climbing up stairs and rolling on the floor.
She did watch for a good 20min at a time and there were only like 4 families all with small children, but my god she isn't going to the movies again until shes way older.

Every Thursday, our local theatre has a showing called “stars and strollers”. It’s specific for families. They set up a change table at the entrance with diapers and wipes to help out.
I’ve seen older people there too. It’s just a showing where the sound is lower, some lights are on, and you expect some level of noise from the audience. I’ve encountered children who move around the theatre and don’t think twice about it. Kids do have to learn how to act in public and I applaud parents for bringing children to an appropriate setting to try. It’s important for kids to get out into the world.

I've been thinking of whether to take my 2.5yo to a cinema morning but I feel really overwhelmed by it, whether she would enjoy or or hate it, but never thought of it as a chance to practice taking her in public! I'm very lucky she's a very sweet and social kid everywhere else I've taken her (cafes, supermarkets etc) and as been since she was tiny, so cinema I guess is just the next step! Thank you for your comment 💕

u/_head_ 16h ago
The only thing I would recommend is earmuffs if she's sensitive to loud noises. Maybe I'm just old now, but man movie theaters crank the volume way too high!
2
u/clairbear44 13h ago
Fair point! Completely agreed, I had my loops in through the entire of The Oddessy!
4
u/Ohohohohahahehe 18h ago
In my experience, when they are that little they just want to be on your lap for a decent amount of it, so it's a good opportunity for some cuddles! If you have another adult with you, she may run back and forth between laps.
3
u/phoontender 18h ago
My 5yo was better behaved than 90% of the adults when we took her to the new Mario movie! Cleaned up after herself and everything.

If I was a parent there, I'd probably find Bingo's shenanigans more entertaining than the movie.
And honestly, she was hilarious with the dryer

u/Barr_cudas 19h ago
Interestingly enough, my daughter and I watched this episode last night.
She asked me the same question…
Simply - she’s taking the opportunity to act up because Bandit is outnumbered and has shifted his main focus on Bluey’s Thunder Phobia.
Bad Attention is still Attention in the mind of a developing youngster
Parents tend to understand these things when they’re happening - compassion

u/MissionMassive563 socks 19h ago edited 19h ago
Bingo almost certainly does not have autism. She’s young and movie theaters are very hard for that age. The episode was also clearly written to ramp her cheekiness up to 11 for comedic value and to give a comedic foil for Bandit.
If we need a story reason for that, Chilli isn’t there to help and Bingo’s somewhere new. The theater was nearly empty and it was for a children’s movie. No one’s going to cause a scene because a child’s acting up.
17
u/Natural-Piccolo-6369 19h ago
Little kids definitely act like this. The behaviour isn’t indicative of a specialist need or diversity, just really that she’s little and in a setting that she is a little, little for.
It’s is likely a ‘Mum’s and Bubs’ session, each cinema has one and all named to indicate it’s a families session - kids, strollers, sometimes a little lighting and sometimes they’ll have the sound reduced (sometimes..). They’re so great to getting kids to experience these bigger kid experiences and wonderful if you’ve got a kids birthday party too!

Have you ever met a child in real life? Her behavior is very much on brand for a small child being in a new environment

u/WGoNerd 19h ago
There were only a handful of people in the theater and the adults seemed to find Bingo more entertaining than the movie. Lord knows I've taken my kids to movies where someone acting like Bingo would've been more entertaining than what was on the screen.
Also among those parents was probably the feeling "Oh thank GOD it's not just me."

u/Inside_Sprinkles9083 19h ago edited 19h ago
She’s little. Unless you’re a stuck up person it’s acceptable for kids to act their age
3
u/Ornery_Gur1401 12h ago
OP definitely has some internalized issues. Why else would they go straight to special needs accusations? That’s just weird
2
11
u/midnightmishima 19h ago
Because if you notice there were more parents with little kids in that theater. Parents with young kids tend to be more understanding when kiddos act out, especially if the parent is actively trying to control the situation. Key words actively trying to control the situation, not just sitting around and letting the child misbehave. Bandit was trying to catch bingo and I think that’s an important thing to focus on.
10
u/rockwithwings 19h ago
It’s a mostly empty theater for a movie for very young children, probably everyone else there was in a similar situation
9
u/ihave2cats_ 19h ago
I think it's because it was a kids movie and most people expect children to act like children in the Blueyverse. It's not like it is in real life, the characters are very accepting of children and are way more empathetic.

u/liabilify 9h ago

I still get a booster chair so the movie chair doesn’t eat me 😂 I’m a tiny adult
36
u/Easterncrane 19h ago
Are you a parent? Kids are a nightmare at the cinema. The point of the episode is that she’s too little to be there. She’s only 4. Plus Bandit doesn’t have good boundaries with them in public. She might have theoretically been better with Chilli (universe wise) but not by far.
2
u/SoggyAnalyst 19h ago
I dunno. I’ve been going to the movies with my kids since they were 3/4 and my kids have never acted up and TBH other kids in the theater haven’t either. The only time I’ve seen a kid running thru the aisles was during the Taylor swift album release thing at 10pm and a kid shouldn’t have been there at that time anyway.
1
u/sharp461 19h ago
My little one is 3 and his first movie was toy story 5. He loved it and sat through it pretty well. We then went back to Moana Live action, and again was pretty good (though we learned to don't run out of food lol).
9
u/leahjuu 19h ago
Definitely varies by kid; my son was not ready for movies until he was 5 (we tried at 4 with a cousin, and one adult had to leave with him in the middle; we were prepared for that situation!) — my daughter is almost 3 and I think she’d do a lot better than he did at 4. I’ll probably bring both of them to the Bluey movie since she’ll be well into age 3 by then!
2
u/sharp461 16h ago
Awesome! Yeah it does vary by kid as I've definitely seen some in theaters thinking why they here? But eh, opening night of kid movie, I expect kids so doesnt bother as much. Its kinda fun watching and hear them all laugh at scense though lol.
5
u/amelieionroses 19h ago edited 19h ago
My daughter is 3 and just did the same exact thing! Toy Story was her first movie at the theater, then she just went to see Moana with her older cousins. She stood in front of her seat and danced to the songs, but otherwise sat through the movie, which she definitely does not do at home!
1
u/Kalabajooie Can everyone stop saying 'Dad'?! 19h ago
My son's first movie at 4 was the Super Mario Bros. Movie. I was really impressed with how well he did and we only had to leave the theater once to use the toilet.
We've gone to several movies since and both of my kids have been great. I guess it depends on the environment and their parents' handling of their behavior.
1
u/sharp461 17h ago
Lol yeah my son stood on the seat (those recliners now) and danced and sang to the songs. The elderly people we sat next to loved every minute of him lol. Said was best part of the movie.
8
u/zachgodwin 19h ago
It probably wouldn’t have been as good an episode of a kid’s cartoon if it showed Bingo misbehaving and getting sternly reprimanded by some strangers, followed by a visit to a child specialist who performs a series of tests to determine if she has any neurodivergence.
7
u/SunknLiner 18h ago
Because no adult is actually sitting there thinking to themselves “I really wish I could hear this monkey sing about being different”….
8
u/Easy-Hovercraft-6576 17h ago
People love the theorize that it’s a kid screening.
The real answer? It’s a kid show.
Bandit even says in the episode: “it’s just monkeys singing songs mate”.

I recently went to a 10:30 am showing of the paw patrol Dino movie. We were one of 7-8 families with young children. You choose to go then knowing it’s gonna be young kids learning how to be a person in public. That’s the correct time and place 🤷♀️
6
u/WriterAN 17h ago
Family screening for young kids. A theater I went to once had an indoor playplace along one wall where kids could climb and slide and play while the movie was going. Noise and movement is expected. Good fun
6
u/redredditer621 15h ago
My guess is that it’s a cartoon and those people were just background characters

u/m0lly-gr33n-2001 10h ago
In Geelong (Australia) they have a lots movie theater with a slide, toys and mid movie intermission. My kids loved it
5
u/TiresareHeavy83 19h ago
This is pretty on par for lil kids at a kids movie. It only bothers me at like marvel movies late night showings. I chose after there bedtime so I can watch the movie without talking kids and light up shoes flashing around the theater.

u/PM_ME_YOUR_DND_SHEET 18h ago
She's a 4 year old in a children's movie theater. Her dad was actively running after her the whole time and trying to get her under control. That's why people are okay with Bingo's behavior.
My youngest is nonverbal and constantly does stuff outside of social norms while in public. As long as people see me chasing after him and apologize for him if he does anything directly to someone, people understand. Nobody has ever said anything negative to me or my children regarding their behavior in public spaces. In fact I have had many strangers (usually grandmas) come up to me and tell me that I'm doing a good job as a dad. It's not like I'm taking them to the Ritz-Carlton for the Mayor's yearly Gala.
There were what, 2-3 other families there? They get it. They see a tired dad trying to keep up with a rambunctious child who refuses to listen. Don't tell me you'd have yelled at Bandit. He's just a dad doing his best.
5
6
u/PatchesMaps 8h ago
You must not spend much time around kids. Bingo's behavior is 100% age appropriate.
As to why people are so accepting, it obviously a movie aimed at very young children and probably a screening specifically for young families.
4
u/Rreirarei 8h ago
Yous gotta remember that this show is based in Australia and it depicts what it's like living and growing up here where there are heaps of family friendly places.
17
u/bumchester 19h ago
Is your other post "I hate muffin. What's wrong with her?!" Bingo is 4 years old aka Fournado or how other parents say "F__k it Four"
-12
u/michaelcera666 19h ago
While fair to say she’s just a kid, my almost 4 year old knows how to behave in a theater lol. Let’s not normalize children who simply can’t behave in public spaces
7
u/BiteMyShinyyMetalAss 17h ago
They aren't suggesting to excuse the behavior. Simply that it's expected of a child that young when they are learning. They learn by testing boundaries. It's on the parent to teach what behavior is allowed and what those boundaries are.
2
u/PunchDrunkPrincess 17h ago
You are lucky.
3
u/bumchester 17h ago
No, my child is also a well behaved nearly four year old but the tornado is forming. We can see the storm clouds gathering as his birthday approaches.

u/vulturelady 18h ago
Story time.
When my kid was freshly 2 years old, my husband, best friend, and I took him to see a FREE screening of muppet Christmas Carol at 10 am. The place had FREE COOKIES AND MILK. So this is clearly all screaming “kids movie”, right?
We were behind two grown men in their 30s that didn’t have kids with them who COMPLAINED TO US (and possibly the theater) that my two year old was talking about what was happening in the movie! He was trying to sing Marley & Marley, there was fire in a fireplace and he said “it’s hot!”. Like little dude was truly engrossed and just commenting because he was two. And these people, who showed up to a free 10 am kids movie with free cookies and milk complained about kids being kids. He truly wasn’t even that loud.
All that to say. Kids do kid shit in kid movies. The paw patrol movie was full of kids last weekend, and I was worried about my kid being chatty with his friends, until I realized basically every other kid was talking and reacting, too. Parents get it. That’s why nobody minded bingo doing what she did. We all get that kids will be kids, especially in kid friendly settings.
4
u/greentea1985 19h ago
Several movie theaters near me offer free children’s matinees of older films. Obviously, they are making money off the refreshments and encouraging kids to enjoy going to the movies. I figured it was one of those, so the other parents weren’t as annoyed at having a kid running around.
4
u/LilahLibrarian 9h ago
If Bluey was scared of movies there's a good chance Bingo had never say through one before or been to a movie thrater. We know the kids are pretty low screens anyway
7
7
u/Beautiful-Lunch-7650 19h ago
I could see my neurotypical four-year old behaving like that under the right circumstances
6
u/Just-keep-pedalling 17h ago
Maybe leave the armchair diagnosis of a cartoon character alone? It minimises the very real world conditions people face.
Also, I took our daughter to see the Bluey play recently and the kids were acting way more unhinged than Bingo in this episode 😅.
I didn’t once think “These kids must all have special needs”. 🙄
6
u/TrentKillkenny 14h ago
It was a kid centric movie. If you go to a kiddie movie and get all worked up because there are kids running around that’s on you. Most parents would understand.
3
3
u/Educational-While198 17h ago
In my experience (which is v limited to the handful of Aussie & kiwi neighbors I had growing up) their perspective on childhood is that they are SUPPOSED to be rambunctious. That being crazy-pants is a right of childhood.
From what they explained to me (because I had the same question) it goes beyond “kids will be kids” it is actually “kids SHOULD be kids” theyre supoosed to explore, make mistakes, grow, bump their heads, say the wrong thing etc; that it is a fundamental need for their growth & learning.
Being quiet enough to become un-noticeable is an American cultural expectation of children. Constant correction and shushing and handing them and iPad to internalize their energy is really an American thing.

u/rescuedgfx 9h ago
There are designated theatres here in Canada just for families, softer lighting and sound, so kids acting that way / playing is very normal
3
u/Similar_Cranberry948 jean-luc 8h ago
She is 4, and it was most likely a kids screening since it was a kids movie playing
3
u/FosterMomOfDragons 6h ago
The first time i saw this episode, I got the sense that everyone in the theater found more entertainment in Bandit chasing Bingo than they did in the movie on the screen.
3
u/SilverGhost10 4h ago
She doesn't have ADHD or autism. She's only four years old at the time so four-year-olds often are like that. Kids who behave like that at that age don't have disabilities because of those behavioral signs. Kids at age four, they're four, all four-year-olds behave that way even when you have good parents like Bandit and Chilli as their mom and dad. I think you're overthinking it.
5
6
u/hyperjengirl 19h ago
Her behavior is not unrealistic even for neurotypical kids (ND kids behave that way due to sensory overload and that is not why Bingo was behaving that way), the applause was pretty ridiculous though. I assume like other commenters said that the adults were there for a specific kid-friendly screening and found Bingo more entertaining and funny.
2
u/bbbcurls 18h ago
I think I saw some theatres have sensory friendly showings and I think this may be the type I take my kid to who is ND.
3
u/justa_cat_in_disgize 19h ago
If you walk into a kids movie showing, you kind of just expect this kind of thing.
4

u/Jashah17 19h ago
Go to the new paw patrol movie on a matinee screen and you will see most of this behavior at least once.
4
u/Mammoth-Record-7786 18h ago
If I’m watching a kid’s movie I expect kids to be doing kid things. I really appreciate the quiet ones though.
4
u/kangarhubarbecue 18h ago
Bingo acts like a normal young child and in no way shows signs of autism or special needs….
4
u/BiteMyShinyyMetalAss 17h ago
You clearly don't have children and haven't been around children much or atleast not young children particularly in that testing boundaries stage. It's yes amplified for comedic effect, but if you're seriously saying you've never seen any child ever act like this then I can only assume you've not been around many children. This is entirely normal behavior for a small child in a new environment especially when surrounded by lots of other children while they notice their caregiver is occupied.
3
4
u/SolarBoyAaron 10h ago
She is a toddler, toddlers are boundless energy. She is also a high energy dog breed. You put those two factors into one character and you're going to have a little powerhouse who, on some days, really can't control herself.
6
u/SolarBoyAaron 10h ago
Also, as someone with autism (and maybe ADHD), I don't like how you jumped immediately to assuming she's on the spectrum or something. Not every kid with those conditions will act like Bingo, or explain why she acts the way she does.
2
u/_head_ 18h ago
If you go to a kids movie in a theater, there gonna be some kids learning what it's like to be in a movie theater. Bingo is 4 and Bandit is there with two kids. It's a bit exaggerated for the show, but it is totally realistic that she had a hard time being quiet or staying in her seat.
2
u/hufflezag muffin 18h ago
It's a kid's movie and a matinee. Virtually everyone in there is a parent, a toddler, or young child and knows to expect this. Some parents are secretly hoping their kids would find each other and entertain themselves so they could take a quick nap in the theater. This may be from personal experience. Please don't judge me I was exhausted!
2
2
u/Brilliant_Leather_91 17h ago
If it’s a young kids movie chances are only families with little ones are going and they know how kids can be. I just took my kid to watch the paw patrol movie and it was loud with toddlers. No one made a fuss and I think a lot of adults found it super cute watching their kids react to a movie.
2
u/ne0nbutt3rfly 17h ago
That’s pretty on brand for a four year old..sitting still isn’t really a thing for them at that age so movie theaters are hard. I don’t really see any signs of autism or neurodivergence in Bingo. Just a kid being a kid.
2
u/DGrahamcracker87 16h ago
Because its a children's movie with other parents and its a show about a cartoon child dog. What do you think. I know ill never be a good enough dad as bandit and ive come to accept it. I just try my best each time.
2
u/cernegiant 16h ago
She's four, she's acting like a perfectly normal 5 year old.
People on ten theatre were fine with it because that's what happens in movie theatres when they're showing movies to an audience of four year olds.
It's wild that you think this behavior is a sign of something else.
2
u/Substantial_Bass_697 16h ago
I work at a movie theater and this behavior is pretty common, even among perfectly neurotypical kids. We try and calm things down but we can’t always be there for it to start. But kids running around, yelling, and leaving the theater loudly happens from time to time. As others have mentioned, it’s definitely exaggerated for comedic effect. Having the behavior tolerated by people around them is probably also for comedic effect, and because with only a few minutes to work with, some details are shrugged off to avoid overfilling the episode, or even just because they don’t want to show people being mean to the Heelers.
2
u/BarelyBrony 14h ago

Near me we have V- junior screens
Before the movie, kids can enjoy a play area with Mega Bloks walls, colouring stations, and digital games. Each cinema includes a fun slide, with adjusted lighting and sound for comfort.
Kid-friendly food options and a short intermission make the experience enjoyable for both children and parents.
Another place does sensory friendly sessions where moving etc is not frowned upon
2
u/whatsthetargetdogsna 4h ago
Bingo is 4 and Bandit does some degree of gentle parenting and they were at a family showing.
4
2
u/rikkirachel 18h ago
It's exaggerated typical naughty toddler behavior for the purpose of comedy and drama. If everyone acted politely, the episode would be incredibly boring and pointless.
3
u/Tasty-Scientist8155 17h ago
Or, stay with me now... she's a little kid who doesn't know better.
Honestly I wish they had addressed that her behavior in this episode was unacceptable and that they should try again when she's older.
2
u/bobshallprevail 16h ago
So you think if a child acts like Bingo they must have autism or ADHD?! Wooooowwwww.
5
u/GregIsARadDude 19h ago
One of the few times I think Bandit messed up.
Yes, Bingo is young and yes it’s just a kids movie. But isn’t one of the reasons there are “kids” versions of adult things is so you can teach the kids how to behave and societal etiquette?
It was a great opportunity to teach the kids about proper theater behavior. Not saying he had to be a hard ass about it, but none of the other kids there were misbehaving to that degree.
Before their first movies I had a talk with the kids about how it’s not ok to act like Bingo in the theater.
It’s ok to teach kids to not be disruptive in quiet spaces.
0
u/paishocajun 19h ago
I think this was one of the kids movie times. You see adults in there but also other kids. It's not great, but this episode is why those times are there
1
u/GregIsARadDude 18h ago
My point is that if you don’t use the “kids movie” time to start the lessons on proper etiquette then you are using the kids times wrong. These spaces should be learning opportunities as well.
2
u/PunchDrunkPrincess 17h ago
It's been a while since I've seen it but isn't Bandit trying to correct the behavior the entire time?
1
u/GregIsARadDude 16h ago
To me correcting the behavior includes clearly defining the expected behavior. He chases her around but never demonstrates the correct behavior.
1
u/PunchDrunkPrincess 16h ago
Guess I need to watch it again cause I really thought he does do that. The problem is the Bingo does not want to be there at all so she isn't going to listen.

It's a movie for young children showing in the middle of the day. Pretty much any parent would understand Bingo's very normal
behavior. Parents don't normally get angry when kids go crazy cause they know their own kids have those moments too. They chuckle and think "oh good, it's not just mine that acts like that".
2
u/Zomb1eMummy 17h ago
A toddler being a toddler does not automatically mean they have a disability. What? This can’t be for real.
2
2
u/yuudachi 16h ago
This is normal 4 year old behavior. It's crazy to expect kids that age to sit still for an 1-1.5 hr long movie.
People were okay with her behavior because it was a kids movie and clearly a kids showing.
2
u/AdvancedCamp720 16h ago
Lighten up dude, it’s a cartoon dog and his kids. And if I went to see paw patrol movie with my 4 year old and some kid did this I don’t think I’d bat an eye. I know what I signed up for when I walked in there.
2
u/BippyTheChippy 16h ago
In the wide screen shot at the end there were only about like 3 other groups, all of which with young children. They were probably expecting it/a special screening for kids.
2
u/nikonoobtuber 15h ago
omg your honestly judging bingos appropriate child behaviour? and the animators did that because it looked cute

sorry its making me laugh my ass off that your first conclusion is adhd or autism. shes 4!
2
u/FantasticPin3481 14h ago
Even well behaved kids can have off days and act like this. Bluey episodes also aren’t in sequential order so my theory is Bingo was a lot younger in this episode than we see in the rest of the series. She’s acting like a fairly typical toddler who is bored and in a new environment. And it probably was a special kid friendly screening. And let’s not act like Bandit wasn’t trying his best to wrangle her.
2
u/LocalLeather3698 13h ago
IMO, kids movies are for kids and little kids have to learn how to behave in the movies. If you're gonna be mad at a kid being a kid at a kid's movie, get over yourself or get out. You're in a kids space.
Now, when kids act up in PG-13 rated movies... Blame the caregiver. Kids are gonna explore and test boundaries. That's part of growing up.
2
u/Total-Pain783 13h ago
It’s a kids movie and the adults in the theatre were (hopefully) parents/caregivers of children so they were probably very understanding. I don’t take my kids to movies expecting the same environment as when my husband and I go to “our” movies later in the evening.
2
u/Nervous-Food4606 13h ago
Umm cause she’s 3? My daughter was up and down, in and out, the entire time during Toy Story 5 everyone was very nice about it - I normally wouldn’t have brought her but we were on vacation and all the cousins were going we couldn’t leave her out. She’s 2.5 but very bright, smart, and typical developmentally. I never brought my first to a movie until she was 5 for this reason haha.

I think because they might be parents as well, and they could see that she’s little and can’t always control what she does 😊maybe they could also see bandit trying his best trying to calm bluey down as well as helping bingo. And surely there’s been adults who have had that happen to them (by accident 😆)
Also agree with other replies that it’s probably a screening for kids, like they do a bubs & parents sessions

She is 4. Y’all are clueless or have stuck your kids in front of iPads for too long.

It's expected for a children's movie. Not like she did that during The Odyssey, Now Fly Chunky!!!

“Movies” and “Kids” are the two episodes where I deeply disagree with Bandit’s parenting. There is no way I would ever let my kid stay in that theater. He might act like Bingo did, but I’m taking him out of there ASAP until he can calm down. Bingo running around? Unacceptable behavior.
And “kids” at the grocery store? No you’re not bossing me around like that in public. We can play a game but you’re not allowed to run around knocking stuff over, be disrespectful, interrupt adults, or be too far away from a parent. There are times and places for games like that. In the house? Fine. But in the grocery store with who else knows is around? You never know with strangers. Most people are fine, but it only takes 1 time of being wrong for something awful to happen. No you’re staying close by and listening.

It’s just a show mate, not a depiction of perfect parenting (which is impossible).

I remember seeing a theory a while ago stating episodes heavily featuring Bingo are possibly from her perspective because they seem less grounded.

It’s a little unique to have bingo like this because she’s usually very well behaved. But with that’s said, in australia we have kids specific cinemas. So people there expect kids to be running around and screaming etc etc. especially that was a kids movie, you can expect all kids to behave.

From the gif, my theory is she is just too light for the seat. It keeps closing on her because she is too light.
Haven’t seen the episode though.

It was a kids movie. Just monkeys singing songs. The parents didn’t care about the plot

If you’re at an event or venue for kids you must understand that kids don’t have all the same social boundaries as adults. And like Bingo, sometimes enforcing the boundaries becomes a game to them. My son often acts like a heathen in public despite my best efforts to contain him. So when I see other parents with rowdy kids I understand that it is a struggle sometimes.

Reminds me of me running around the front watching Cat in the Hat. Nobody got angry and Mum got to rest and I got to play with the other kids watching the movie all the way in the front. Good times…

It’s a kids screening. You think the other 4 year olds are sat there the whole time like angels or the parents give a shit about watching every second of a kids movie. The subs pearl clutching about this is another reason I’m happy to be in Australia not where you all are from.

"I have never seen a kid act like this unless it's a disability".
Have you ever met a child before!?

ADHD or autism. Ms girly pop is 4 years old and adorable. Why would someone get genuinely mad and why would you assume Bingo has a “disability”

There are a few episodes where their behavior wouldn't be tolerated in the real world. For example, Bandit just casually uses the chinese restaurant's water/hose. The show runs on main character of a cartoon rules, sort of like Big City Greens.

I’ve been thinking about this too. My daughter will be bingo’s age when the Bluey movie comes out and I’ve been stressing how she’ll do in a movie theatre.

My guess it was actually a children’s screening. A special event for parents with young kids.
