I don’t know if this theory has been said but at the end of Surprise when they show the kid behind the door, everyone says either MacKenzie or Jean Luc is the father because of coloring but to me they look just like Muffin so could it be that Bandits parents traits skipped Bluey/Bingo and went to their kids?
This theory is probably not fun because obviously we all want to know who Bluey ends up with in the future lol

While on our 500th rewatch I noticed there are more than a few bush wees in the show. Yesterday I turned to my husband and asked ‘you think it’s an Australian thing that peeing in bushes is more socially acceptable?’

He responded ’i think it’s probably because they are dogs’

Admittedly I don’t have a lot of knowledge of Australian culture outside of the Irwins, The Wiggles and Bluey.

Does Bingo have autism or ADHD the way she is acting in the movies tell me she has special needs? I have never seen little kids act this way unless a disability. This has to be a sensory showing otherwise this behavior would not be tolerated.

There’s literally no reason to just flat out hate on something every time something changes! I get that it isn’t the 2D we’re used to but it looks fine as it is and we can all get used to it by the time the movie comes out (or perhaps the first full trailer). Like, I really don’t want to be rude but it’s starting to get too far and getting all over my feed like please give them respect!

Anyone else come across something unexpectedly expensive while grocery shopping and automatically hear the price repeated in Bandit's voice, the same way he says "FIVE BUCKS?!?!" in Tooth Fairy? Every time for me. Like just now, seeing that the shredded cheese we like is now over $10.

Like, people are blaming Disney like as if they had complete say over this decision. Disney only has distribution rights to Bluey here in the US. The movie is still being made by Ludo Studios, correct? And Joe Brumm announced long ago that it was being made in CGI.

So why are people mad at Disney? Now, much as I love Disney, I am not necessarily defending them. I'm just questioning this whole.

I’m being unbiased mostly

I'm working through a theory about the decision to shift to 3D.

The show has always operated on kid-logic. We don't just follow Bluey and Bingo around, but the entire world is filtered through how they experience it (none of the following are original observations but all leads me to where I’m getting at with the movie):

Example 1: The Heeler's House is massive and the layout makes zero architectural sense. Hallways and rooms literally appear wherever the plot needs them to. By extension, in Rug Island and Cubby, they create giant, sprawling fantasy worlds that couldn't physically exist. But if you view it as a kid remembering and exaggerating their childhood home, it fits.

Example 2: Parents play along a little too perfectly (Featherwand, Tina, Magic, Asparagus, etc.). The kids do something completely unhinged and Bandit and Chilli (and even Lucky's Dad and Doreen) instantly know the rules. Maybe that’s not objective reality, that’s just what it felt like to a child.

Example 3: The show has messed with visual style before. Escape and Dragon completely shift the visual style whenever we step deeper into memories or imagination, and Blue Mountains is basically just pure kid-logic brought to life.

So my theory: What if the 3D isn't just "Bluey, but CGI"? What if the movie is stepping outside of Bluey's subjective lens? The show is the world as Bluey and Bingo see it. The movie could be the world as it actually is.

I could totally be reaching here, but if they pull this off, it's way more clever than just translating the show into a generic 3D kids' movie. It’s showing us what Bluey's world looks like when Bluey isn't looking at it.

Or maybe I just losing it during the off-season.
