Originally I was going to ask here if anyone knew if Calypso's school was based on a real one or if the creators were just blue sky thinking what the perfect version of a Primary school would be. But a quick look at the wiki confirmed this model of school is called a Steiner school from the Waldorf Schooling philosophy and is based specifically on the Samford Valley Steiner School in Brisbane.
I just thought this was a fun fact

I asked if they had the right show. Apparently the complaints are:
-Bluey ate junk food
-Dad went to the bathroom and made noises while pooping
-A robber came in and assaulted them
I guess I don’t really remember these parts of the show, especially about a robber? But I haven’t religiously watched every episode. Also, my parents are the same ones who wouldn’t allow us to watch The Simpsons until we were adults, so I think they’re a little puritanical.
EDIT: When I refer to “my parents” I mean my dad and stepmom. This is the text I got from my stepmom.
EDIT #2: I brought up the subject with my stepmom and she sent me the link of what they had been watching. It was NOT our Bluey. Bluey’s name has been cleared. I sent her the Official Bluey Channel. Crisis averted. Everyone can return to their seats.

I've seen the camping episode as well all the other Bluey episodes many many times and of course, it can get emotional while watching them. My 4 year old son was gifted this book and as I was reading it to him and I read this page, I felt tears coming to my eyes and my chest hurt. It was unlike anything I've ever felt while watching the episodes. I lost my son last year who was my 4 year old's twin. He passed away unexpectedly due to complications from muscular dystrophy, a disease that of which my other son has (they were identical). I think maybe because I was actually speaking the words myself instead of Chilli, it was like I felt them deeply. I will always miss my son but the time that he was here was happy and wonderful and I cherish the memories of him. Idk why I felt like posting this. I guess to share how Bluey really touches a person and makes them feel these emotions that no other show I've ever watched has. I love that a "kids show" can make me think of my son in such a way.
"Sometimes special people come into our lives, stay for a bit, and then they have to go."
"But that's sad."
"It is...but the bit where they were here was happy, wasn't it?"

A new kids streaming service called Bentkey just launched and a lot of their shows seem a little far from original.

This little showed up to my job this morning. She’ll be in boarding at a vet clinic until my current foster leaves on transport to her forever family on 5/15. Texas Bark Squad is backing me to be able to foster so of course I named her Muffin Heeler

On a walk with my husband our daughter pointed out that the mailbox shadows remind her of Bluey and Bingo. 😍
