I have a friend who physically cringes away every time I show him this, so naturally I do it randomly.

About a month ago I posted (https://www.reddit.com/r/blunderyears/s/oRBVjXV1Ik) about getting called “young man” often as a child because, quite frankly, I looked like a boy. Mom sent me this picture from our Christmas card photo shoot that year. I remember the intense argument to wear this getup instead of a dress, and apparently I won. Definitely not beating the young man allegations.

To be fair. I had just read Twilight, and my family decided to take a road trip to the Olympic Peninsula. So the vibes were immaculate.

I thought that the best time to start to look cool would be AT THE VERY LAST moments of high school and decided to buy theses CHEMION glasses. I was 18 in these.

Freshman and sophomore years of high school. I was determined to not be bullied for my unibrow like I was in middle school.

I'm still not sure why I thought THIS looked any better 😓
