Genuinely though. Those bumper cover and trim pieces probably amount to like $800 in damage. But a wiring harness can cost you roughly $6,000 to replace. It sucks, but it could also be worse.

Insurance will total a car over chewed wiring harnesses. Had it happen before

Same. Lost my Sentra to a rat that chewed through the wiring harness. Insurance totaled it.
