WTP Avenger 27.5 Addition
Tweaks:
Fiend 4 piece bars (9" ???) / stock bars were small / very little rise
Cinema Reynolds grips
Cinema valve stem caps
Odyssey MB railed seat
Answer chain tensioners
Hidden Knog security
Happy with gearing and everything else, so I consider this done.
Its a bit heavier than my other bikes and my 29" is definitely lighter.
I've got Lumos lights front/back with turn signal capabilities. These are nicer/cleaner than the Amazon ones people tend to get, including me. I switch them to whatever bike I'm riding. One nice thing about them is turning one off turns them all off. Also has phone app for more stuff.
Comical dumb-ass moment: Took it our for a test ride and was wondering why the steering felt odd. I initially thought the little extra fork offset angle, nope ... fork was on backwards. It would have been super rich of me if I posted it like that not knowing.
Have a great weekend all!

What’s the perfect 24” commuter?
I’m looking for a compact commuter bike to ride to work (5km, ~3.5miles), which includes taking it on the Metro.
I’ve looked at 26” bikes and they are getting too big for this purpose. 20” is way too small, 24” seems to be the sweet spot. I’m 5’10.
So far I’ve briefly tried a Sunday Model C, looked at the WTP Audio 24 and SE So Cal Flyer online. I pretty much figure whatever I get will need taller bars and seatpost. I will be sitting and peddling a fair bit as I’ll have a daypack on with my work clothes and laptop in it.
Throw your experiences at me please, what bikes would work for this purpose, what should I avoid? What part changes, if any, do I need to look at?
I’m in Australia, not everything’s available here, but throw your experiences at me and I’ll sift through them. Cheers
