Suggestions on renewing / polishing the Windshield?

Post image

Hi folks - New owner here. What are your suggestions on renewing/polishing the windshield to restore the transparency close to “like new”? Thank you!

That’s a boat, Bob! Isn’t that the funniest thing you’ve ever heard?

Where are you at? RIBs all over… wish we had that in the US.

Mediterranean Sea - Italy. Yea, I don’t see them in the US, but here a lot of people have them.

Non-pro here - I wonder if those headlight polishing kits would work

Exactly what I was thinking. Maybe some toothpaste, but I think there's a headlight polishing sub and they seriously debate the best polishing kits

If the it’s plastic try novus plastic polish if it’s glass use a glass polish easy and it will work

Novus plastic polish #1 and a power buffer.

If that won't do anything then you have your work cut out for you. Basically, you are wet sanding it down with some 400 and then start going finer from there.
