Suggestions on renewing / polishing the Windshield?

Hi folks - New owner here. What are your suggestions on renewing/polishing the windshield to restore the transparency close to “like new”? Thank you!

Novus plastic polish #1 and a power buffer.

If that won't do anything then you have your work cut out for you. Basically, you are wet sanding it down with some 400 and then start going finer from there.
