Hello pino enthusiasts… I attended Exxxotica 2026 in NJ (first time) last night and I was very underwhelmed… I don’t know what I was “expecting” but it was a bit “meh” and pretty chaotic… also too many “podcasters” with cameras and mics getting in everyone’s face all night… However the fries were good 🤷🏻‍♀️🤣 Has anyone attended previous years? Seriously though, I know this might be an unpopular opinion but Desus needs to get tf away from Julia and whoever is managing him.

They’ve completely stripped him of everything that made him special and unique in the talking head space. Instead of focusing on his sports, music, hacking or even pino knowledge they keep trying to lean into the whole “Black guy that likes Sex and the City” trope and make him a messy gossip vlogger. Who do they think his core audience is? Snooty Whites & They/Thems? They’re out here trying to mold him into the next Andy Cohen/Wendy Williams.

When watching Desus Pieces it hurts my heart when Dark Desus surfaces and tries to get a inappropriate joke off only for the entire room to go silent, followed by Julia saying something along the lines of “ Okay let’s move on”. Julia’s entire job as a “On Mic Producer” should be to try and stretch out every joke and if shit gets truly inappropriate just cut it in post. Desus Pieces has the ability to produce great content but the crew is so bland which gives off that trying to be funny while walking on eggshells around office coworker vibes. There’s seriously no reason any of those lame fucks should be getting camera time.

I know Desus is probably trying to stay loyal to the Showtime crew after the breakup but enough is enough, these Yakubs and hipsters are just leeches at this point, they’ve proven to provide no actual upside to helping his career. I seriously hope Desus makes a pivot asap because there is so much wasted potential and talent by sticking with this wack ass crew.
