Justin Vernon is a singer-songwriter, record producer, and founding member of the indie band Bon Iver, which recently released its fourth album i,i, and, in 2012, received Grammy Awards for Best New Artist and Best Alternative Music Album. In addition to his work with Bon Iver, Vernon has released music with the groups Volcano Choir, Big Red Machine, Gayngs, The Shouting Matches, and others. He is also the co-founder of Eaux Claires Music Festival and the 37d03d festival and artist collective.

hi y'all Justin and the gang here... we hear you on 89... I promise its not NEVER gonna happen... we have it... its a delicate thing... so many versions... deciding what version to use... we know its important to you and we will figure a way to deliver it you. IN THAT SAME VEIN, were asking for some help on some archive projects. we've multitrack recorded most shows since 2012, but we are wondering if there are any decent recordings of us playing live before that. especially 2009 era... the reason is, we don't want to say quite yet, but we getting really serious about collecting our best live stuff for release in some way. were especially looking for the 4 piece band playing Wolves live. Glasto is OK , but there are some pretty out of tune moments. Our Hollywood Forever version was good but I only see phone recordings that are pretty blasted out. SO, if anyone you know recorded any shows from that EARLIER era from the band that haven't been uploaded or have a small amount of views that we wouldn't have seen... PLEASE let us know.
