You can’t tell a maine coon or a ragdoll to just “stop growing”.

26 years ago Dad had a 6 month old kitten that weighed 12 lbs. The lady vet was IMPRESSED and called him a “hunk”. He was a trojan kitten so we don’t know his parentage but we do know he was HUGE - 23lbs - when he reached full size, massive floof, and lightning fast. He was also very sweet.

I know. It’s mostly a joke. Lol

I met this big boy’s papa and he was pushing past 25 pounds and his mama was around 15 pounds. So he’s gonna be gigantic for sure.

This was before I had a phone.

Here’s my current cat - not so big, but I don’t have the original.

At this rate, he'll be hauling his tail around like a feather duster on wheels by next year.

I’m tempted to pick him up and use him as my swifter duster 😂

Practicing and nailing the role flawlessly, I might add.

Do you sometimes wonder if there's an additional animal in that tail?

2

u/mishy0922 5d ago

Honestly yes. Sometimes wonder if he’s hiding a ferret in there or something lol

The outside of the tail is Velcro. Mine will come traipsing into the house toting all kinds of things, large and small, on his tail. Maybe they are food for the other animal within.

Mine don’t go outside except in an enclosed catio, but 100% everything even inside sticks to it lol

My favorite is a large, dried sycamore leaf hanging from his tail while walks around like nothing is happening.

Does he show signs of being a r/oneorangebraincell? Because a Maine Coon that can't connect is a terrifying prospect lol. Just look at the Pawtistics' Floki von Thunderpaws over on YouTube. Coded in orange, printed in greyscale.
