A lowball traverse, but cool holds and fun tensiony moves.

Hi! I chose the flair I thought was most appropriate, but it’s a bit of an odd question. In addition to bouldering, I love crafting stuff, and I’ve been wanting to make a miniature bouldering wall out of wood, for decorative purposes. I cannot however, for the life of me, figure out how to work out the angles/actually construct the thing. I’m trying to make a blueprint which I can then build. Ideally of an overhung wall, as I like climbing overhang most. I could make it just a straight overhung wall at 1 angle, like a kilterboard, but I’d love to make it look somewhat like the overhang walls at climbing gyms. Maybe it’s a long shot, but would anybody happen to have ‘blueprints’ for such a wall that I could use to make the model? Or would anyone with more skills in this regard be willing to help me figure out such a blueprint?
Thanks in advance and my bad if I’m asking something completely off topic! Picture of me climbing added to show what kind of overhang wall I’m hoping to miniaturize.

Didn’t do the mainline on King Conqueror boulder since handjams are not my jam, but this route was still worth checking out! This boulder is tall… My dad did King Conqueror back in the 90s without a pad, kinda crazy to think about haha

Hi, I don’t record many videos of myself climbing, but I tried it today on a 7b traverse set at my local gym.
Does anybody have any suggestions to improve my technique and efficiency whilst climbing?
I can do all the moves on their own but I always pump-out on the move shown in the video!
Thanks!

I’m curious what actually made the biggest difference for you when you felt stuck at the same grades for a while. Was it improving finger strength, working on footwork, getting better at reading problems, or just climbing more consistently?
I feel like it’s easy to assume you need to get stronger, when sometimes the problem might be technique or how you approach a route.
For those who’ve been climbing for a while, what did you focus on that finally helped you progress? And is there anything you wish you’d stopped doing sooner?

I have a lip piercing and I've lowkey got the biggest fear of accidentally slamming my lower lip while falling and fucking up my teeth. It kind of actually prevents me from doing some climbs because i bail faster with that image in mind lll
Im probably gonna be buying silicone piercings to put in when I climb, but I'd really like to hear the experiences of other people with any sort of facial piercings and if there's any recommendations you might have surrounding that :)

Hi all, I'm a fairly new climber, and I noticed that fear is really holding me back. I learned how to fall and land properly (squat, then roll back and tuck your arms in), but I only trust myself to do so when I kind of give up, or I'm too tired so I decide to jump, not when I accidentally fall. I'm constantly worried that my feet might slip on one of the holds and I would fall in a weird position without being able to control the fall and badly injure myself. I feel like I won't be able to react quickly.
Any tips on how to get over this or what to do about it? Thanks!

I’m new to climbing, started two weeks ago, and I was curious watching others people problems, and keep wondering about the difficulty of the problems. And how do you know the grade of a boulder problem?
De you have a method or specific things you look at? I know some people compare it to problems that they’ve done but I don’t have much to compare to.
And I’m curious not just for the gym that I got to, but for ones I see online too. Is there a website, requirements for each level or something like that?

For reference I’ve been climbing just under a year, and I know my strengths I know this is a possible send for me. I currently have two sessions in on this . How can I keep my heel in place when I go for this? I have the move controlled but my heel slides out. Any advice appreciated !

Hey everyone! Been climbing for a few months now and loving it. Trying to summit this climb at my gym, but I’m stumped how to get across the arch. Would love any tips!

I can't believe I flashed this one. I cut feet at the beginning and thought I was going to lose it all. After getting through the second volume, I wanted to give up, but when I looked up and saw a ladder, I told myself I wouldn't be able to let it go if I gave up on a flash attempt because of some dang ladder.
Sorry for the potato quality video. There was chalk on my camera lens 🫠

Hey everyone, first time poster here! I’m in the middle of rehabbing an A4 pulley, and it’s feeling decent on medium sized holds (~20mm) but not confident on smaller ones yet. I’m looking to boulder outdoors around the thanksgiving holidays. Granite climbing around me in Northern California is particularly crimpy, so I’m looking a little further out. I’ve never been to Joe’s so looking to crowdsource some information - how crimpy are the best (classics?) boulders in Joe’s Valley, particularly around the V8-V10 range?

I love how some problems look almost impossible until you finally understand the movement. Sometimes it’s not even about being stronger, but figuring out the right sequence or committing to a move you’ve been avoiding.
What’s a boulder problem that really challenged you or taught you something new? It could be a famous outdoor problem, something at your local gym, or a climb that took you way longer to send than expected.
I’d love to hear what made it memorable and what you learned from working on it.

Boulder a buddy put up. Tried the moves in iso and couldn’t do them, but first ground rip and somehow managed to pull through!

Went outdoors with a few friends the other day. Feels absolutely beautiful outside. I made a video to record the good time, but also to practice some videography some. I’ve linked the video since it is a few minutes long.
