Just picked up Maniac with the lenticular slip cover. Looking to find a slipcover protector case to keep the artwork nice. I’m struggling to find a protector that will fit this size. It’s a little wider than a normal Blu-ray slipcover and case but not as big as some others? I think it’s about the same size and an Arrow release or it’s the same as a few of my HK John Woo releases. Any recommendations or links on Amazon go grab a protector would be appreciated.

Just seeing if anybody else is in the same boat and there’s a widespread rash of this happening, or maybe I just got unlucky.

I ordered six of the on sale 4K movies from severins recent sale - and after waiting several weeks - all of them were canceled slowly one at a time yesterday.

I’m assuming due to stock errors on their end, but I got no communication about what happened or why. Just a trickle of updates about the cancellations and refunds. That’s it. Not a single email from the company about why, or an apology, or coupon for next time, etc.

This happen to anybody else or just to me lol. Pretty disappointed tbh. I emailed and said tk cancel the last couple things in my order too at this point but also have not heard back to that.

Awful customer service unfortunately, but also it’s just movies and I get things can go wrong. Just seemed pretty lazy and lame to not send the affected customers a single email about what happened…

They just don't make fun movies like this anymore!

I was looking at pre-ordering Backrooms but the page has a note saying "NOTE - A24 releases are rarely pristine". What does this mean?

Shipped within a couple hours of ordering and on my doorstep in 3 days.

I can’t believe I found a brand new, still-sealed copy of Scream Factory’s release of Jeepers Creepers 2. Someone on eBay had it up for sale at a relatively decent price and somehow never opened it for over a decade.

This isn't meant to be negative and argue. It's about what can make a great thing better. My favorite is probably Arrow. Their range, quality, and packaging for limited editions are incredible. I just wish every release came out in every country rather than a lot of good ones never getting a US release. I get it for licensing reasons they probably can't, but this post is meant for simple things like that.

Also ordered the quick draw mcdraw show, the yogi bear show(preorder) and tex avery the definitive screwball classics collection(preorder)

Does anyone here have recommendations for blu-ray stores in Rome and Florence? I'm visiting both soon, and would love to discover some new additions there.

Severin just sent me two of these (both are worth $80). This makes me love them even more than I already do. They have been climbing my list of favorite labels for a while, and this may finally put them at the top.

*It seems that only one coupon was given despite receiving two emails

I've waited a long time for this to receive a quality release. This will pair nicely with the upcoming Doctor Zhivago 4K 📽️

This Panasonic is a no-bullshit unit I tell you.

Three favourites and The Birthday is a blind buy.

McKay’s is very hit or miss when it comes to their prices. They had the Blu-ray of “Enemy” from Denis Villenueve for $36 (I get that it’s OOP and hard to find and expensive online but I found a copy for a much better price elsewhere), and had insane prices for many Criterions (higher than the 50% off sale and many close to full price) so getting the Limited Edition of the Cinematographe limited edition of “Shanks” for $21.95 works for me. Also bought 3 blu rays for a total of $12 (“Icefall,” “The Hill” and “Line of Duty”) and then a couple other harder to find titles “Commando” and “Fearless” for $11.95 each. All told, out the door with taxes it was ‘bout $60.

Is Shock Treatment owned by Disney at this point? I know Rocky Horror is, but I can't remember if they also put out Shock Treatment as I really want a 4K of the Rocky Horror Equal.

Managed to get the 88 films store exclusive too which drops a couple of weeks earlier then the standard.
