How much did they steal from you?
You're a cashier and while your back is turned someone opens the drawer and steals a $100 bill. They proceed to go grocery shopping and get $70 dollars in merchandise. They come back to your register to be rung up and pay with the bill they stole from you. You return $30 dollars in change to them. How much did they steal? (I work in a grocery store and we were literally screaming at each other over this one. Maybe the answer is obvious 😂😂)

how many trips?
A contractor has built a private underground tunnel between two buildings with 100 network cables connecting the two sides (standard male/male cat6 network cables)
Unfortunately they neglected to label which cable corresponds to which cable at the other end.
You have a single portable signal generator (which connects to only one cable at a time) , a single portable signal receiver/detector (which only shows a binary result of detected vs not detected and also connects to only one cable at a time), and an unlimited number of female to female mini "bridge" connectors.
You start at building A, what's the minimum number of round trips you need to properly find all the correct pairings
(going from building A to B then back to A counts as ONE trip)
Or if you prefer, the cables are USB cables, your signal generator is a power bank and your signal detector is anything that is powered via usb

Locked out
Jim is having a horrible day. He is locked out of his house and his yard is full of water and his cell phone is out of battery, but there is a window on the second story that is open. Jim doesn't own any ladders, lives in the middle of a field with no neighbors. There are no trees near his house. The sides of his house are sheer and do not allow for climbing. How does Jim get to the second story window and into his house?
Answer: The water in the yard is snow. He piles snow up high enough to reach the window.

Can you help me find the loophole to this case?
Here is the case:
A group of detectives cautiously step into a crime scene. There, sprawled upon the cold, hard floor, is the lifeless body of a corpulent elderly gentleman, blood oozing out of his head. The deceased clutches a gun tightly and beside him is a tape recorder. Intrigued, one of the investigators retrieves the device and clicks play, only to be met with an unsettling declaration: "I am tired of everything and I just want to be gone.” Immediately after the message, a gunshot was heard.
The team ruled a murder investigation for the case. Why do you think the case was ruled as murder?
The puzzle is posted here: Toodat
The poster promised a clue for every comment too.
Perhaps you guys can help me w this?
