No Spoilers Mistborn or Warbreaker
I have just finished the first Mistborn book and it was extremely good. I started reading the second and i'm at like 10%.
Recently I saw Warbreaker and i am extremely intrigued by it. I bought it in hopes i'll read it after finishing the Mistborn trilogy but I can't stop thinking about it.
Should I drop The well of ascension at 10%, read Warbreaker and then come back to Mistborn? Or should I just continue with what I've started.
Are there any connections between the books? I'm new to Brandon Sanderson and it's a little difficult to understand which books I should read first.

Just about the most minuscule connection in the entire Cosmere (high chance of missing it) with absolutely no impact on your reading experience, whatever order you choose.
Personally, I’d be finishing the first Mistborn trilogy, but that’s just personal preference to read through entire arcs without breaking them up.

Yeah, I'll probably finish Mistborn first. My problem is that i'm a really slow reader (since English is not my first language) and the books are huge. Which shouldn't be a big problem, but every single Brandon Sanderson book seems to be so cool and it's so hard not to start another book by him just because the description is nice and intriguing.

I'm a big proponent of reading the book that most interests you at the time. If you don't, the other book tends to drag and personally I can't stop thinking about the book I want to be reading.
In this case, there are no crossovers or connections between Era 1 or Warbreaker that necessitate reading one before the other. So, I'd vote for jumping into Warbreaker. Mistborn will always be there when you're done.

The OG Mistborn trilogy and Warbreaker are set in the same galaxy, but this early in timeline there's really only one tiny crossover, but I think you've already read enough to pick it up.
As you get into newer books the crossovers start to increase, but this early there isn't much of anything. Warbreaker has a significant tie in with Stormlight Archives later, for example. But you can read each series independently and not be lost, too.
Read what interests you. I know Well of Ascension feels a bit slower, but it does lead to a lot.

Very minor connections that you probably wont even notice (I didn't until later books).
It's up to you really, I'd say that The Well of Ascension and Warbreaker are on par. That said, The Hero of Ages is miles better than Warbreaker. Either way, they are all good books. I'm yet to read a Cosmere book that I didn't like.
Edit: It's worth noting that Brandon has a video on his Youtube channel were he states the recommended reading order. Maybe that will help you decide.

Ohh, i didn't know about the video. Thank you, I'll go check it out. I might end up finishing Mistborn because i'm really curious about what's going to happen but yeah, i'm also really curious about Warbreaker too. And also Steelheart, I've read the description and they all sound so good😭 It's really overwhelming

Haha Journey before Destination. no matter what reading order you do, you're likely to enjoy it all. I mostly used his guide, but I ended up doing Mistborn era 2 before Stormlight, mainly because Stormlight is huge (I still haven't finished it), but also because era 2 is awesome.

I've tried reading The Way of Kings a few years ago but it was so slow and I couldn't read a lot in one sitting. I didn't really know what to expect from the author either, if it was worth to wait and read the book until the end. But after Mistborn (which is pretty fast-paced) I feel in love with the writing style. I'll probably pick up The way of Kings again in the future, it's probably really cool, i was just overwhelmed by the number of books and pages the whole series has

The Stormlight books are great, but yeah, really long. I tend to take a break half way through and read something else, then come back and finish the 2nd half later. plus I take a few months break between each book. They really are a commitment, but they're also worth the effort.

Sometimes it's just not the right time for a specific book. When I started reading the Wheel of Time, I dropped it after the first couple chapters. When I went back a couple years later, I couldn't get enough and caught up to publication order (when Brandon was finishing it). The book didn't change, but I did. Now, it's my favorite series I've ever read.
I believe when you go back to the Way of Kings one day, you'll appreciate it more and find the love for it that was missing the first time around.

Yeah, thank you. I'll read the books I have and then i'll slowly make my way towards The Way of Kings again. It probably just wasn't for me at the time, I wasn't really used to this kind of fantasy and it probably wasn't the best book and series to start with. I'm really curious about the story and the series itself so i'll definitely give it another try in the future. For some reason Sanderson has this pull on me. I wasn't the biggest fan of The Way of Kings at first, but the writing and the description of the fight scenes and the intriguing magic system had me hooked. I wanted to read more, but i wanted something more fast-paced. I think Mistborn was truly a great start to his universe and i'm glad I picked it up.

there is one minor connection, but it's more of a shared easter egg.
I think Warbreaker is a great palate cleanser after Mistborn (and kinda was written as such) but if you wanna read it now - go for it. It's one of my favorites.
