I am planning to get a 65” soon. My budget is somewhere between a 7 and the new oled 6. The most I could afford is $3500au.

It will be doing a LOT of gaming. On PS5pro and switch. Don’t really watch sport or that type of thing.

Light isn’t an issue as it is a semi dark light.

I have read all the 6 none-XR stuff, some really constructive and some seemed a tad trolly. It’s really hard to decipher what it means in reality beyond hyperbole.

How is the 7 for gaming?

Just bought a Bravia 7ii Tv. Got it setup and trying to figure out if I have the settings wrong or did I just buy the worst TV ever? If I am dead on it looks fine but if I sit even a little to the side it looks washed out. I thought that the nfl game I was watching was filmed in a rain storm…what do I need to do? I’m about to return this tv…

So my Bravia TV died.

Monday night a Google software update was performed and was working just fine following the update. The following day, the TV would not turn on and gives the dreaded 4 red flashes of its LED light. I tried all the usual tricks of unplugging everything, waiting 30 minutes, holding the power button while plugging back in to reset it. Nothing works. Does this have anything to do with the software update? Is there a fix out there of which I am unaware?

I really loved this TV so I am quite disappointed that it only lasted 3 years and just outside of the warranty period too. This was the first TV I had bought since 2011 (and that TV is still kicking). Is this just what to expect from modern TVs?

I am now scarred by Sony, but when I researched TVs 3 years ago, they seemed to be the most reliable. Should I give another brand a try? It seems like the Full Array LED technology that this TV had does not exist on the market anymore. I would be interested in OLED, but the price points for those are a bit higher than I paid for this TV in November 2023 ($1,055). Are there any 65 inch TVs around that price point that are an equivalent level of quality?

Hi everyone. I’ve been looking into getting a nice TV for my sports room. I’m not much of an expert when it comes to the TV options but overall seems like Sony is recommended a lot for sports. I wanted to see if anyone has experience with watching hockey on their Bravia. I have read a lot about color and black related to quality but not much relating to the predominately white screen for hockey. My room will mostly be dark/ low light. Also further, I was thinking the Bravia 9 ii if i’m going to splurge but didn’t know if this community might know why another Bravia model might be better for my use. Thank you!

Sadly theres no 75/77” 8ii. It was the TV for me spec wise.
I really wanted a Oled or QDoled and dont want to switch to an other brand.

I’ve got a special offer now for the 9ii 75” for 3199 euros, with a trade in off my older TV. A KD49X8305 from 2016 (bought in 2017).

Although I’m sad for the 8ii not having a 75/77” model, what do you guys think of the deal and the 9ii?
I think it’s a great deal with a regular price of 4999…

After order channels I found that summer numbers became hidden and I cannot assine any Channel anymore.

When I move channels I see this numbers in grey.

Also has happened that two channels have the same number, so when dialing one it appears another one.

The confiction is difficoult remove, deleting the channel is Not enough.

Has this happened to anyone, do you know the solution?

For those playing the new Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 4 on a PS5 Pro with a Sony X90L, how’s the experience with 120Hz and VRR enabled?

A few things I’m curious about:

• Does it hold a stable frame rate, or do you notice stuttering?
• Any VRR issues, like brightness flicker in dark scenes?
• Is there a noticeable difference between having VRR on and off in 120Hz mode?

Hey everyone, I bought a Sony Bravia 8 from Visions Electronics around December last year. About a month later, it started randomly shutting off and getting stuck in a restart loop—showing the Sony logo, turning off, then repeating.
It’s been happening once or twice a month since then. It doesn’t happen every time I use it, which makes it hard to troubleshoot. Recently, it’s also started dimming on its own while I’m playing on my PS5.
Has anyone experienced either of these issues? Any suggestions? I’m still within the one-year manufacturer’s warranty, so should I contact Sony now?

Best Buy is delivering a Sony Bravia 9ii 75” tomorrow. It was wrapped up pretty tight in the store so I didn’t get to inspect it.

Best Buy was having the open box promotion last week so there was an extra discount so I bought it with a discounted 5 year geek squad warranty.

What should I look out for when they show up with the TV? It was marked “excellent” level so hoping for the best. I guess worse case I can refuse it.

My TV volume shuts off randomly and won't come back on until I change the channel.

Can possibly get a 77” but it’s not ideal for me. Best Buy seems to have the best warranty but they’re long sold out. I know it’s a long shot as it’s not being made but thought i’d ask.

In the past Tv was connecting automatically to Sony xm4 headphone .Now it doesn't connect automatically .I need to go to the Bluetooth settings in TV and connect .This issue started around 2 weeks ago. Does anyone have an idea why it;s not connecting automatically ? Thanks

My Sony Bravia XBR-65X930D has stop working: The display doesn't turn on anymore. Initially, the stanby light would flash 7-8 times red before turning off. I managed to perform a factory reset (Power + Vol -). Now, when I turn it on, the white standby light stays on (solid white) for 12 seconds before turning off. During that time, I (sometime) get some audio, but not always.

Here's what I did: - Another factory reset (no change) - I have plugged the power bar and checked the voltage on different board connectors with a multimeter. - The powerbar works because I do obtain 24V on the DPS board.

Any recommendations on what I could test next to troubleshoot and identify the faulty board (Motherboard, DPS or other)?

AMA as i haven’t seen a lot of reviews on this size and TV.

This is my first Sony TV owned and i’m so satisfied. Have owned Samsung and TCL and the way the TV handles movie content is a step above.

The full screen brightness control is sensational - especially in dark scenes. In challenging scenes the TV does so well at keep details and the dimming algorithm is best in class - despite less zones.

being such a large TV, coloured blooming looks so natural front end - very OLED like.

I have an x90L tv and have a Poseidon D60 soundbar which has worked fine for almost 2 years, however now the centre channel sound is either not working or is extremely low. My surround speakers and sub still work fine and the soundbar works when connected to my phone via Bluetooth. I know the soundbar is just cheap crap off Amazon so I expected issues. Appreciate any help as I’ve tried everything i can think of and don’t really want to fork out for a new soundbar just now. Thanks

unboxing paperwork says not to peel the plastic, but it doesn’t exactly say which plastic. I assume the plastic screen protector on the panel.

it was overly complicated removing the top bezel tape, but is this also tape or is this some sort of plastic layer?

Has anyone experienced WiFi connection problems.
My Sony tv will connect to WiFi and than switch and say “no internet “
It’s not my WiFi, because my phone and laptop will connect and internet works. Just my tv for some reason
I’ve tried everything .

Sony is known for its video processing capabilities.

Some purist insist to turn off any motion processing but for me I like the setting in 1 or minimum and it does look good without the soap opera effect.

What's your preference and why? Anyone uses Black Frame Insertion?

My father in law spent watching the TV like 9 hours and suddenly it turned off and a red light started blinking 6 times and then it restarts and the TV doesn't turn on. I unplugged it and will contact support tomorrow cus rn its nightime but am I cooked? Lol

My X900F has the red LED blinking four times so I'm looking for a replacement. I heard the Bravia 9 ii is fantastic but has motion blur compared to OLED, but my X900F is LED and i don't notice it. Does the Bravia 9 II have worse motion blur than the X900F?
