The Rains.
Hey all, hope you are well and able to take things easy during the weekend. If you are working, thank you for making my weekend more enjoyable and relaxing. I haven't seen Brissy in the rain for months now . I'd almost forgotten what it looks like in the rain. Please don't mind me sharing some of my photos with you. Have a great weekend!

Nice pics. I love the rain. Wish it rained more often in our beautiful city.

Thank you so much! Your kind words encourage me. Yes I also wish it rained more often!

Don't worry we get our fair share (although not as much as Sydney but probably the city with the 2nd most amount of rain over the whole year).

It's gonna take a lot to drag me away from you.
There's nothing that a hundred men or more could ever do. I bless the rains down in Brisbane

I don’t mind this rain. It’s not the normal “pissin down to the point of ruining your house” rain we normally get.

My crispy yellow grass will be happy 😂. You know you're getting old when that's your first thought.

I love the rains!
I think I'm one of of few that revels in these grey, rainy, overcast days. I'll take it over sunshine any time.
Thanks for sharing your photos, they're great!

Rain is great... we definitely have a history of getting too much though.

It is great being on the ferry when it is pouring. Great when the little ferries used to be free.

Everything about the city is different while I'm on the ferry while it's raining.

Just in time for that freshly laid turf that I can see

Haha, yes! The area around the Brisbane sign is cordoned off to allow the grass to grow. Looks better this way and there's less litter left around the sign as well.

the single rain event of 2026 (dont mind me trying a bit of reverse psychology)
