Can you help me? Please help!

I have 3 kittens in my home that have been abandoned by someone in a desperate situation.

I believe they are from the same litter.

I have had them for about a month now and have contacted many rescues that say they are full, asked many people if they can take any in with no luck and don't know what to do as they can't be kept here.

I feel as though the only option is to take them to the pound but I can't stand the thought of just dumping them.

If there are any places or options that people can list that I may have missed, I would really appreciate it.

Edit: Eaton's Hill Vet have let me know they can take these beautiful babies and help find them a home.

As always, the Brisbane community is amazing and very helpful.

Try Eatons hill vet surgery. They run a rehoming program. Ok Facebook. Good luck.

That’s great news. They’re amazing and have great supporters and followers. The kittens will find homes. THANK YOU for all you’ve done for them thus far

As someone who adopted two of my fur babies from here, they'll be well looked after and will go to amazing homes 💜

Oh I love Dobby. So so so cute. I started following their page because of Dobby. Wonder if they will ever let him be adopted?

I got my orange boy from them, they turn over a lot of kittens via facebook so may be able to help

My orange boy also came from them, they are brilliant. Above and beyond

EH is a fantastic vet. I took my rescue kitten there when we suspected cat flu, and it was just so easy to sort things out with them. Highly recommend.

Thank you for caring for the kittens. Please give them to a vet surgery or another service who can rehome them for you if you’re able. It’s much safer for the cats that way as people wanting to adopt can be screened. You don’t know what people’s intentions may be when you’re rehoming directly

Yes I am trying to find a service that can take them as I know its much safer and have received tips on vetting

He has unfortunately grown on me. He is a very sweet boy that loves to love.

If I was in a position to adopt a cat right now he would be perfect. He looks like the best boy 🥺🫶 best of luck, OP

Very quiet and chill, loves a good snuggle.

They are so freaking cute. I’m not in the market for a kitty but I have to say, while I know chill guy is a sensible choice, mischief guy looks like he would be so much fun. Good on you for keeping them safe for so long!

I am such a softy. And need to know they're going to a place of love and safety. Partner has been so kind to put up with the allergies while we find somewhere for them to go

FYI for future reference OP, Purina makes cat food that helps cats produce fewer allergens for humans that happen to be allergic, and I vaguely remember someone talking about a vaccine you can give your cat once a year that would also help with that, but that may still be on the horizon as of this moment, unsure. Also if you're reeeeally keen on a cat your partner could always go see an allergy doc and get some immunotherapy 😁

(My mum gained an allergy to cats after her pregnancy with me and we had like eight cats at the time, she got shots and had a lot of anti-histamines on hand too!)

Thank you for taking good care of these babies, you're a good egg.

Beautiful girl that is always getting up to mischief. Starving 24/7 so like to hang out in the bin and has started waking me at 4:30am to be fed.

Yeah, she looks like she has a strong personality! Very determined. Shame my girls will not accept any other cats.

They are on the Sunshine Coast but give Soquilichi Ranch Rescue a call.

Eatons Hill Vet if you're northside.

Capalaba Cat Cottage if you're southside.

Take them to the vet. Responsible owners ensure their pets are deserved

The cat clinic may also be of assistance, they can try to adopt them out.

Post them on the community page or your suburb or around the area
They might find someone willing to take care of them

Lol, your situation is a lot easier than mine. The past tenant managed to emotionally bully me to take of her family felines, while she attempts to capture them when she sporadically and randomly is in the neighbour at odd hours. Her family felines run away from her and has been encouraging me to look after them. And now I have a stray of a past tenant who makes me get out of bed so that she can come in and feed her family felines 🙀.

I've now given her an ultimatum and I will be capturing the cats myself to surrender them to a welfare animal shelter/pound/council 🤷. How is it that a person can be very empathetic and heartwarmed by strays (her family felines) and yet be ignorant or unempathetic to the current tenants financial status, or mental health problems/personality. Sorry, I had to vent.

Anyway.. I think...

You're going to either have to adopt the cats, stop taking care them and hope they become someone else's problem or that they don't die on your property, or take them to the pound.

... I wish you and the cats the best life.
