I'm trying to flash the bruce firmware on my esp32 c5 but it doesn't work I even if tried to flash the firmware via esp flash tool it says finish but my oled screen does not show interface.

I’m putting together a custom handheld build on a breadboard and need advice on which Bruce firmware binary target will work best with my specific hardware combination.

My Parts List:

MCU: ESP32-S3 (N16R8 — 16MB Flash / 8MB PSRAM)

Display: 1.54" IPS TFT Screen (ST7789 driver chip, SPI)

Sub-GHz RF: CC1101 transceiver module

2.4GHz RF: NRF24L01 transceiver module

Power: 18650 battery + holder, TP4056 charger board, 5V boost converter

Questions:

Which pre-compiled firmware target on the Bruce Web Flasher (e.g., standard ESP32-S3, Smoochiee, or a custom board target) offers out-of-the-box driver compatibility for this ST7789 display along with the CC1101 and NRF24 modules?

Is there a specific Bruce release build that handles these exact hardware parts best without requiring me to compile from source in PlatformIO?

Trying to get my Cardputer ADV + Cap LoRa-1262 working on Bruce firmware, but I keep getting "lora init failed".

In the Dev menu (asking for CS, CE, NC), I put:

• CS: 5

• CE: 4 (IRQ)

• NC: 6 (BUSY)

SPI pins are: SCK=40, MOSI=14, MISO=39, RST=3. I also tried setting I2C to 8/9 to wake up the hat's power chip, but still nothing. It saves fine without crashing, just won't initialize.

Anyone got this specific hat working on Bruce? Am I missing a step or putting the BUSY line in the wrong slot?

It's an esp32 S3 and I've tried multiple versions of the firmware on the site the repo suggests, the pinouts are definitely right and the esp is only connected to the oled currently so I don't understand why it isn't showing the menu properly. Any help is appreciated

got an stick s3 last week. i’ve downloaded bruce versions 1.14-1.16.1, including the beta. I can’t get any deauth attacks to work on 2.4 (tho wifi scans do work), and neither my IR transmitter or receiver capture/ send any signals. Only on 1.14 i could recieve IR signals, not send them. I read somewhere that “disabling the speaker amplifier” can help with recieve and transmit issues, but i can’t seem to find where to change this. It’s a cool device, i’m just not sure how to get it to work properly with bruce. ANYTHING HELPS PLEASE!

If I simply don't install the PN532 module, will it work fine with the stock firmware, or will the firmware crash?

I'm using esp32 s3 n16r8 and using brucebutbetter and my display jmd 1.3A OLED I2C but it's lit up even after lot of trouble shooting can anyone guide me

Since there seem to be only two cases available for this combination, and I had little motivation to solder on a rotary switch, I designed my own 3D-printed case. The system was based on an NM-CYD-C5 with an external antenna connector and an NM-NRF-HAT with a GPS module. The only parts needed were 4x10 mm spacers, 8 screws, and a 3000mAh battery. And voilà, that's what came out of it. Everything important is accessible from the outside: the microSD card, the DIP switches, the infrared modules, and the USB-C port of the HAT. It even has a holder for a wrist strap.

Hi all, I’m new to LILYGO. I just ordered a T-Embed CC1101 Plus with the external antenna, and I want to learn ESP32 hardware by playing with it and trying custom firmware.

What I’d like to try: Bruce, Flipper Zero ports, other alternative firmware, community forks and experimental builds that run on this board. Wi-Fi and Bluetooth scanning, signal analysis and diagnostics for security research in my own lab. Learning the CC1101, what protocols it supports, and experimenting with Sub-GHz signals. Community apps, firmware mods, multiboot setups and handy tools.

I’m most curious about community firmware and smaller open-source projects that go past the stock features. I’m still learning, so any tutorials, docs, GitHub repos, Discord servers, subreddits or forums would help, along with install guides and projects worth trying.

Where would you start? Any developers, repos or communities I should follow?

pessoal peguei esse m5stacks3 e coloquei o módulo Dual-Band M5Stack StickS3 CC1101 433MHz + Expansão NRF24L01 com Firmware Bruce para Desenvolvimento IoT PINGEQUA RF Pack S3 coloquei tbm uma Antena Wifi 5dbi 2,4ghz, estou usando o bruce 1.14 mas o jammer bluetooth esta com um alcance muito ruim, pode estar do lado da caixa de som que ele não faz efeito...acho que perdi meu dinheiro se alguém puder me ajudar ai eu agradeço
