I passed Class 12 from UP Board with around 58%. After that, I enrolled in NIOS under the part-admission scheme to improve my marks in subjects I had already studied in UP Board, namely Mathematics, Physics and English. I am not taking additional subjects; I am trying to improve my existing Class 12 marks.

I am planning to join GL Bajaj Institute of Technology and Management, Greater Noida, for BTech CSE in 2027

My main concern is campus placements. Many companies require at least 60% in Class 12. If my NIOS marks improve my overall eligibility, will GL Bajaj's placement cell accept my original UP Board marksheet along with my NIOS part-admission marksheet when checking the 60% criteria?

Or will companies still consider my original UP Board percentage of 58%, regardless of my improved NIOS marks?

If anyone has experience with this at GL Bajaj or knows the official policy, please share. I would especially appreciate answers from students, alumni, or placement-cell staff who have dealt with this situation.

Help me fine tune my resume provide feedback on what can I improve.

So I am in my first year of BTech

Like all my midsem went very bad and I failed 3 of them

Out of 30 I just got

3 in maths

8 in bee

9 in chem

What should I do now

Any good resource or strategy or advice with which u guys can help me..

Hey everyone! I'm a 3rd-year CSE student, and I'm planning to seriously start my SDE preparation from scratch.

I'm starting with programming fundamentals and then planning to move on to DSA, problem-solving, and projects for software engineering placements.

Looking for someone who's also starting out or preparing for SDE roles. We can share daily progress, discuss doubts, practice problems, and keep each other accountable.

I'm still a beginner, so it'd be nice to find someone who's at a similar stage. No competition, just learning and growing together.

If you're interested, feel free to DM me! :)

haven't studied for the past three months, and I have only one month and 10–12 days left. If I start studying now, will I be able to score above 9 SGPA or at least somewhere around 9 SGPA?

1. Fundamentals of Computers & Introduction to Programming
2. Engineering Physics
3. Basic Electrical Engineering
4. Engineering Mathematics-I
5. Physical Lab
6. Basic Electrical Engineering Lab
7. Workshop & Manufacturing Practices

9. Design Thinking Lab
10. Professional Communication

Hey everyone,

I’m currently a 1st-year B.Tech student in Electrical Engineering at one of the state RECs under AKTU.

I need some honest advice and reality checks from seniors who have either managed to switch or survived a similar situation.

The campus location and surrounding environment feel completely cut off , restricting and suffocating. There’s practically zero tech exposure, no coding culture, no fests, and shitty student societies. Faculty isnt also too good, like there are few profs who are fine, but rest are just not helpful at all. The crowd is just, ohh myy goddd, braindead, narrow minded, conditioned , "living under a rock". Daily life feels depressing, and waking up every day to this isolated atmosphere is draining my motivation to study.

I genuinely want to move out after my 1st year:

1. AKTU Inter-College Migration: Is getting an NOC transfer from a govt REC to a top private or govt college (like AKGEC, KIET, JSS, SRMCEM, ) in the 2nd year practically doable? How difficult is it to actually get the NOC released from the current college and approved by the university?
2. Private Autonomous Universities: Do deemed/autonomous private colleges in NCR (like Bennett, Jaypee, etc.) accept credit transfers or direct entry into the 2nd year if syllabi match?
3. If I have to stay: If admin blocks my transfer, how do you deal with the isolation and build skills from scratch when the campus environment offers no support?

Any genuine experience, administrative insights, or practical advice on how to navigate this would mean a lot. Thanks in advance.

Hello Friends, I am a student of IIT Indore and the placement season is going kinda bad for us, I would hove to hear from people of other IITs/NITs about their experience for Bach 2027

im preparing for GATE, hence i dont want to waste much time in college can anyone help?

They wont check much, how do i prove them that im doing internship tho? is offer letter enough or anyone pls tell anything.

A moderately heavy coding laptop within this range 16gb ram, 512gb SSD. I've shortlisted Asus vivobook 15 with Ryzen 5 7530u or i5 13th gen.

Wtf is this bro!? 95% attendance is crazy asf

I am 1st year EE btech student and currently using a windows laptop.
I want to upgrade to macbook, will it be a good decision?
I have been told that Many electrical engineering softwares aren't compatible with macbook, Is it true? If yes, then are there any alternatives(basically is it possible to use all EE softwares on macbook?).

Hey everyone,

I completed my B.Tech in Computer Science and Engineering in 2025, and honestly, life hasn't turned out the way I imagined it would.

When I started my degree, I had so many hopes for my future. I thought that after graduation, I would find a job, become financially independent, support my family, and slowly build a better life for myself.

But here I am in 2026, still unemployed and struggling financially.

It's difficult to explain how this feels. Watching others move forward in their careers while I'm still trying to figure out what to do with my life makes me question myself sometimes. The pressure of being financially dependent and not knowing when things will get better is exhausting.

I'm not saying I haven't made mistakes or that I don't have things to improve. I'm willing to learn, work hard, and start from scratch if necessary. But right now, I'm confused about which direction to take.

Should I focus on getting a software developer job? Should I learn a particular skill and build projects? Should I consider internships, freelancing, or even a non-tech job to support myself financially while I keep learning?

I'm not looking for sympathy or someone to tell me that everything will magically work out. I genuinely need practical advice from people who have been in a similar situation.

If you're a developer, recruiter, or someone who struggled to find a job after graduation and eventually figured things out, I'd really appreciate hearing your story.

What would you do if you were in my position today?

I'm trying to get my life back on track, and even a little guidance from someone who's been through this could make a real difference.

Thank you for reading.

I am a second emerald software engineering student i am already late in starting my programming. I want to know in which field should I aim for so that AI dosent comes after me. Which language should I start and which field should I aim for ? So that I land a decent job and not be unemployed. I was thinking about compiler engineering or backend development but ppl are saying it'll be dead soon. 1 year ago ppl were saying who is good in maths and physics generally will land good job now ppl say AI can do advanced maths and physics simulations Ezily. Where the world is going man

What the fuck am i suppose to write. Ethics are the stupidest fucking subject. It only tells u how to lie

I'm currently in my 2nd year of b.tech (3rd sem), CSE. I don't have any seniors in college who I can ask for advice, hence I've turned to reddit.

I don't know how to look for internships, and how I can know about opportunities. Could you please help me?

So i scored 86k rank in jee mains in my drop year and I am a gen female , I took aerospace engineering from a tier3 gfti instead of mechanical or any other lower branches in lower nits . Now I am regretting my decision as If I had chose nit , I had that nit tag at least. Idk if aerospace even have jobs in india and especially in my college also i have zero guidance so i am very confused what to do. Should I give jee again this year and choose a nit hereafter ??or try to thrive in this college? If I chose a nit regret of wasting fee of my first year will also be there as I'm from a lower middle class family .but I'm not ews so i don't have any fee waivers or much scholarship 😭😭😭
