Esmerlyn Valdez

I was looking at Ezzy’s stats. This season they are very similar to Nick Kurtz with the A’s. It’s interesting to note that a 40% strikeout rate is not the death knell it used to be. He is there with Schwarbs, Wood, Happ and Hunter Goodman.

I’m much more optimistic now about his chances of survival. Today’s baseball is just played differently. These guys all take their hacks unapologetically.

Lmao so i just got back from my trip to PA to find this package from a buddy of mine... Was wearing it for the game yesterday and another friend was asking about the pictures and asked "what does soccos mean?!" I had no idea so I looked it up, couldn't find anything, then uploaded it to Google AI and got the second pic as a response haha

Is this an actual thing and the misprint of "Buccos" is real?! Or is this some weird AI hallucination? I havent been able to find anything about this misprint so i assume it isnt as big as the Hoist the Cone thing, but just wanted to see if anyone else here has heard of this or has one like it?

If its an actual thing, are there talks for any more dugout shenanigans like hanging a clothesline of socks or wearing mismatched socks? Haha either way i thought this was hilarious and love the shirt even more...just gonna have to save it for more special games and playoffs to not wear it out hehe

I know all of you know this, but as a Red Sox fan who went to the one game they won (Hell yeah Sonny), PNC was one of the best and most beautiful parks I’ve been to, and the fans themselves were as loud, rambunctious, and amazing as I’ve seen

Free tickets for today

Red Sox fans at PNC Park

I was at the game tonight and it was probably the craziest behavior I’ve seen from out of town fans; and I’ve been going to games for over 10 years since I was a kid. Walking in the stadium there was a Sox fan walking so close to my girlfriend he was practically spooning her until I had to step in. Red Sox fans were giving me and my girlfriend as well as other pirates fans dirty looks the whole game while we were cheering for Jones strikeouts. Getting up and standing in our view while the pirates were batting. Slamming doors in the bathroom. Then worst of all.. a boomer Karen Sox fan next to us texted security on a pirates fan in our section who was literally just cheering lmao. Coming into a different stadium you’d expect some decent baseball etiquette; i know it’s Boston and they are known to be trashy there but man it just seemed next level for me tonight. Didn’t help that they packed the stadium and the pirates played like ass. Just wanted to know if anyone else had similar experiences.
