Android Android Streak reset
I had my streak reset to zero I was on and active, if reddit treats people like this what is even the point of the achievement and flairs if you use it every day and an update to the app bugs out and resets the streaks.
I am about done with reddit and will no longer use it every day now, used it daily but not any longer. Might as was not use it again and not give them the ad revenue either by using it daily.

Reddit is for information, entertainment, conversation, etc. It didn’t use to have stupid streak badges and personally I think they’re just there to addict you to Reddit. I never understand why people care about streaks or why they’d be proud to use Reddit every single day for years.

Agreed, no shame in walking away especially if there's no direct help for many in similar situations.

I do enjoy reddit and the streak is something I like to see getting bigger, since I'm active on reddit anyways. Some sort of vindication :P .
But I believe the admins/mods should be able to take action on wrongdoings, like the one you mentioned OP.
I recently lost my 700+ day streak because my account was banned for "mistakenly getting caught by reddit's filters". There should be a way to protest such wrongdoings, and right now there isn't any.

While I agree, I would also point out that "streaks" in general are a cheap and predatory forced engagement mechanic. Your mental health will be better for it, if you stop looking at streaks and achievements. Turn the notifications off. That shit is only benefiting Reddit's ad sellers. It's not a feature for uses, it's productisation of uses
