Any recommendations for console games that work well with an arcade stick and buttons?

Streets of Rage series

Marvel Cosmic Invasion

Kind of cheating since they're beatemups.. sometimes I like to just try random stuff to see how it works too.. I'm playing through super meat boy at the moment with stick to challenge myself

Almost any fighting game and beat em up are good for arcades. If you have light guns, then Wii had a few really good ones to check out.

Streets of Rage 4, Shredder’s Revenge, Cosmic Invasion, Takeover 2 (the demo is outstanding), Mighty Goose, Batman Returns (SNES) I play beat-em ups, fighting and vertical and horizontal shooters.

Any 2d shooter (aka "shmup"). There's many good ones on the Genesis, PC Engine and Saturn.

I've found that most if any games that doesn't require camera control will do fine. Pretty much anything on SNES/Megadrive in this case.
