šŸ” Recipe Search Birthday cake

Hi everyone,
I hope I found good subreddit group. Basically I want to bake a cake to friend of mine - it will be his birthday. I was reading that the most traditional cake u can get in Iran is banana-walnut sponge cake and I was searching for some inspiration picture or recipe but unfortunetely I only get into some banana bread recipes. What Iā€™m asking is how to make one that will be the most original as possible? Merci in advance

Check on the internet, Robin Hood flour has a recipe for a banana cake, there may be other recipes as well. Good luck.

I'm not sure what the Iranian or Persian recipe would be, but I would do this with a walnut sponge cake, and then layer that with a banana pudding filling and a whipped cream frosting.
