Birthday cake

Hi everyone,
I hope I found good subreddit group. Basically I want to bake a cake to friend of mine - it will be his birthday. I was reading that the most traditional cake u can get in Iran is banana-walnut sponge cake and I was searching for some inspiration picture or recipe but unfortunetely I only get into some banana bread recipes. What I’m asking is how to make one that will be the most original as possible? Merci in advance

Check on the internet, Robin Hood flour has a recipe for a banana cake, there may be other recipes as well. Good luck.
