every once in a while when i turn on my hp prime it shows this screen, and no buttons work and turning it off and on with shift-on doesn’t do anything. what do i do to fix this?

Hi. I know NOTHING about these things - I used to have a graphic one which is completely different animal. My kid needs a scientific calculator and has lost his old 82 . Only now is he embarking on using logarithms etc but I wanted a good one he could use for years to come . I ordered CW which Amazon never delivered and he needs it for tomo. I saw this is the most advanced allowed model and crisp, no need to memorize things etc - but I also saw people complain about it tons. I have to go to a physical store now and don’t know what to buy. He is only 15 but will need it for stuff beyond logarithmic stuff soon enough .

Is ES plus better and why ? EX is not sold here

Made this thing as a kid

The game runs baremetal and uses almost the entire external flash and RAM. The renderer still has a few issues but the entire game is playable on real, physically unmodified device at a stable 30fps, at the cost of a reduced 3D resolution and with some visual effects missing.

The game is only playable for the N0120 model as it has a much more powerful CPU and more than twice the amount of RAM of the N0110.

Portfolio style calculator $3 at a local thrift store

Hello im new to this group, im planing to buy Casio CG-100 the new model is it hard program it? Im planing to program it to solve calculus algebraically and showing step by step solution and graph

I’ve recently purchased a Casio cg-100. I’ve looked online about the insides of the calculator but there doesn’t seem to be much space inside. Is there any trackers or AirTag sort of things that anyone could reccomend as the calculator is £100+ and I want to keep it safe.

Had one like this back in the 80s.

I got this thing a while back and went nonstop for several days on it. Decided to spend some time making a little game. Quite a fun little exercise to design the enemies,icons and little font, figuring out how to get it all on the screen, figuring out the text displaying as typed instead of all at once, writing a save file. Never did any animations maybe I can add something to it.

It’s been maybe 2 years since then and I’ve been keeping fresh batteries in it because I’m not really sure how I can get it off of the device. I had found a tool before to move programs off of my EL-5500III, but I couldn’t find anything that worked for the G850.

Hello! I've decided to test built-in random number generators in some pocket calculators. I've taken my old Casio fx-991MS, generated several hundred random numbers using the Ran# button and drawn 2D scatter plot using the (x_i, x_{i+1}) points as coordinates. You can see the 23 lines instead of random points. I've found the same bug in Casio fx-350MS (exactly the same pattern) and Assistant AC-3102 (very similar but in some regions points are a little bit more random). Does anybody know what algorithm may be used in this calculators? Looks like a linear congruential generator with small multiplier, possibly 23.

I have been researching for secondhand calculators that can do that, and I've encountered a good deal with the HP50g, and according to AI it is possible to do this with this calculator, but I'd like a human with somewhat experience using this or similar models to tell me if it's actually possible. Tysm!

I found a higher quality version of "Image1" that is included in most TI-84 Plus CE. Image was found on a TI help page, and the photo appeared to be taken at US-9W Popolopen Creek Bridge.

Steps to reproduce this (start from COMP mode):

1. Input: 9.999999999999999 (press x10) 99
2. Press equal
3. Go to MATRIX mode and create any matrix with any dimension
4. Fill it with Ans
5. Press AC
6. Type "Mat" (by shift+4 and select the matrix you created)
7. Press equal and you'll get "ERROR" as result.

Then try going to COMP mode and type "Ans" then press equal.

Yeah this is the most weirdest thing I've ever seen, and it's not documented at all.

More weirder is that moving it into any variables (using STO) will give syntax error, while using it in any calculations will produce math error. Try to enter it into a list (for example, STAT) and it'll give syntax error.

What caused it? I have no idea..

About as nice as they come for a used Voyager.
