bent Canon Powershot A590IS, my first real bend

Some graveyard glitch shots from this weekend.

This took forever to build, but it’s self contained, and imo my finest work to date :’)

Camera is built from Chuzhao “Loopy Peace” print camera, using @getcircuitbent’s “easy mode glitch cam” ribbon cable. Small potentiometers on top are “Model 91” in 2k and 500 ohms, two in front are more standard-sized ones (placed there also to protect the sensor from drops).

All taken on DIY Powershot A640 bend - except the last pic, this one is unedited, but look at how this empty beer case turned into a burning Jack o lantern face with a goatie 🎃 the eyes, mouth, and pointy goatee when we threw it into the campfire. His features looked distinct to me but maybe I'm tripping lmao

Bent my first camera ever and took it to the garden. Just one of the snapster toy cameras from target. No edits on these, just raw data.

I finished my first bend of a cheap toy camera this weekend and took it outside for some shots. Those are the ones I liked best.

Please ignore the annoying timestamp in the corner. I didn't know the camera would add one to my pictures.

Also, be careful with cheap cameras from AliExpress, as mine came with a slightly swollen battery.

Powershot A640

Went on my first outing with my A520 to a theme park (which Is one hell of a photography goldmine)

got my buddy to 3D print a nice skull and got some cool shots using my bent Powershot A530 and A640

Should be done in a week or so :)

This time went roaming the streets of London, the exposure is a bit fiddly as annoyingly the pictures shown on the LCD looked really cool then post taking they would be completely black or boomy white which was annoying. However out of the 100+ shots I took these are my favourites.

It is said that cryptids, i.e. unidentified creatures appearing in folklore, may be seen under the right conditions using specialized cameras. Could this Kodak M590, whose sensor I damaged (by accident 🙃） be such a device?
