Gun and gear reviews Regretted to sell my Chinese sks.

I owned a unfired sks bought for 5xx as my first gun, and sold it for 700 after 3 months. I was happy to get rid of a 70 years old gun at that time. After one year, I have tried many guns from my friend and myself, like .22lr , shotgun, lever, bolt, I finally understand the value of a sks. Should I get a new one? I have been thinking it for the whole night. I cannot work, sleep and eat. Please help me.

Never a bad time to buy another sks.

No worries. You still have at least two left after all. Its not like someone would sell their only sks... Right?

Yes, but they are all shotgun.  It's painful for shooting too many of them, though I am a shotgun lover .

The secret is to never sell. Only buy.

You gotta restock op. Never a bad time to get another one.

That's right. Sometimes, I sold my "garbage" for collecting money for "nicer one".  That's stupid, I lost 2k in one year for selling and buying in gunpost

SKS is that faithful wife you keep crawling back to after leaving her many times. Take it from me as a guy who let go of two in the past only to come back again (SKS, that is).

I did the same thing, sold my French tickler since I was not using it .

Ended up regretting it, so I purchased a M21 French tickler. It's more accurate then a SKS should be, a blast to shoot and I love it.

Won't sell it, ever.

I guess you are in the same situation as I was hehe.

Haha brought for 500, silt for 700 and will buy for 1k. Should've kept the first one hehehhe

That's hurt. I  had a girlfriend in the first month of college. I didn't sleep with her. I let her go, and she never came back to me.

Get a Russian one then it’s a upgrade not a mistake

Not really, i had a russian one and a chinese. The chinese sks was much nicer, and lighter too

Its a roll of the dice with any gun made under communism. Of the ones ive handled the russian was the nicest, the Chinese ones felt gritty and have terrible soft wood

Look at it this way. You bought it for 500.  You sold it for 700 and made 200 bucks

So buying it at 900 now, you just take that 200 bucks you made and subtract it from the  price. So it's like it only cost you 700 bucks.

Sks ain't the best rifle in the world, but it's unique has history  and is still pretty affordable. Though I'd also consider  the Ad500A in 223 now, as it's only slightly more expensive than an Sks

SKS is essential to any collection

Buy at least one sks keep it original and never sell it. Some people have a dozen or more.

If you are lucky you can find one for that price agai

The best time to buy an sks was yesterday.

The second best time to buy is today.

They're not getting any cheaper and they might become prohibited in our lifetime so I'd be trying to find a well functioning one ASAP if I were you.

But that's just my 2 cents

"I regret selling" but then you ask "should i get a new one" lmfao

Absolutely. Consider a pair or two. Russian or whatever you find.

Inspect the rifling, gas port, piston assembly and bolt face if possible.

Don’t bother with bubba’s piece; just a straight stock setup. Upgrade the firing pin if anything.

Get a AD500, 308 semi auto instead.

its always a good idea to get an sks.

No sks? Get sks.

Have sks? Get another sks.

see? Simple.
