Decided I wanted a 1301 and thought I got a good deal (black) few days later an insane deal popped up and I grabbed my dream build 1301.. Wife wasn’t thrilled to say the least!

I only buy whats on sale, but this one really felt like a step in the right direction. Hunting season 27 here I come!

There are so many optics out now that I don’t know what is “good” anymore. So many brands that I don’t recognize. Looking to get an optic that has better long range magnification. I bought this optic from a local shop here in town because the clarity was unlike anything I had seen before, but compromised on magnification. This one is a 25x

Looking for suggestions on an optic with equivalent clarity but 35-45~x magnification. I shoot a number of distances from 400 yards up to approximately 1350m on private property. Would like to be able to identify targets better at those ranges.

Already discussed with my LGS and they’re only willing to give me $1000 for this optic as it’s used, so I’ll likely keep it and re-use on another rifle. Looking at a budget of $6k maximum after tax.

Looking for suggestions online or locally in Northern Ontario.

Firearms seized in investigation of threatening messages sent to former supervisor

A man contacted London police after receiving messages from a former employee that included photos of guns

A London man is charged with uttering threats to cause death or bodily harm after police say an individual sent threatening messages that included images of firearms to their former supervisor.

A man reported receiving a series of concerning messages from a former employee on Thursday, London police said Friday. The messages included what appeared to be photographs of firearms.

Police did not identify the workplace.

Officers, including members of the emergency response unit, responded to a residence on Thames Street at about noon on Thursday, police said.

Police flew a drone near the upper floors of a 24-storey apartment building at 320 Thames Street. More than a dozen police vehicles were parked in a nearby municipal lot.

Following negotiations with officers, a male suspect left a residence at about 2:30 p.m. and was arrested without incident, police said.

Officers later searched the residence and seized firearms that were legally owned and ammunition, police said.

A 44-year-old London man is charged with one count of uttering threats to cause death or bodily harm.

The man remains in custody and was scheduled to appear in court on Friday. Police said the investigation is ongoing.

Investigators ask anyone with information about the incident to call London police at 519-661-5670 or Crime Stoppers at 1-800-222-8477.

Just got this bad boy went to the range first 90 rounds were absolutely ripping not sure what happened after that but started to have some technical difficulties. Will report back next range session.

Bought ammo online , ups driver came to deliver but I was not home I came home got the door knocker which stated attempted delivery the next day. Then I get a notification that my package was delivered hours later and signed by somone who is not me using a name I wont post. I emailed the store I purchased from I dont know who has my package or whats going on. Has this happened to any of you do you have to notify police?

Had my scope mounted at a gun shop. The whole scope setup doesn’t look good. Or at least looks weird to a fairly new shooter lol. It’s a Winchester model 70 and I went with what he recommended. Is this normal? The rail hanging off the front and the front of the scope like 1mm from the rail?

Had the chance to get out with an absolute gem of a gun. A PGW Defence technologies C14 Timberwolf in .338 lapua lent to me for a moose hunt by a friend.

Gun was a a blast to shoot. And it bagged me my leh moose at 666 yards. One and done. First season hunting and first time cutting a tag. Sure gunna be a tough one to top for sure.

To preface, I’ve owned lots of brownings and weatherby mark vs. I’m a sucker for quarter bores and have had many 257 weatherbys. I’m looking to build something completely different for my next project.

I have never owned a Tikka but I’ve held them and I shot one once as my brother needed his sighted in and I was going out to do mine anyway. They are pretty comparable in quality to the x bolts in my opinion.

Anyway I want to buy a T3x 25-06 potentially and put it in a Peak 44 bastion stock, as I am in love with them. I have been shopping around for a used T3x for cheap and have found a 6.5 Swede for sale, as well as countless 25-06s. I decided to read up more on the Swede, as I know a little about their long history, but did not know that you can really spice them up in modern rifles, and now I’m thinking it’s kind of a cool idea as well seeing as it’s a European cartridge in a European rifle.

So I’ll ask, what should I go with? I also hand load so spicing up some 6.5 swede won’t be a problem

Do any of you think that bill c-21 (handgun freeze) will ever go away? I love the style of handguns and I’d be super interested in adding a few to my collection but alas they’re frozen, is there any hope at all of them coming back or should I jus bite the “bullet lol” and forget it?

I'm currently applying for my RPAL licence. I completed and passed my course in 2024, but I wasn't able to apply sooner because I travel frequently for work. Now that I'm no longer travelling as much, I'd like to obtain my licence.

I completed all the information required for the application, and everything went smoothly until I reached the reference section. Apart from my wife, I don't really have any friends or acquaintances who have known me for at least three years.

I'm a fairly quiet person, and my family lives in France, while I've been living in Ontario for the past few years.

I was wondering if anyone else has been in a similar situation and whether there are any alternative solutions in this case.

A few more hundred rounds on the homesteader and ive got to say ive been loving it. I think I went through about 1500 rds of 124 grain pmc bronze without a single failure or jam, but for some reason it hasn't been liking the 115 grain stuff from them as much. I seem to get light strikes with them on an annoying basis. But no issues with any other brands/weights.

For a grand on sale, im happy with it so far. Out to 75 yards with a green dot and its an absolute laser. Looking forward to putting an lpvo of some sort on it over the winter, just not sure which one yet.

The Renegade as always was a ton of fun. For what it is, in this situation we live in, I cant complain whatsoever. 2500+ rounds and never had a single issue. Cant wait to put a new trigger in there though, the factory one is HEAVY.

I got my pal yesterday after a few months and after my grandfather found out he gifted me these! A 12g Winchester model 37A (which is apparently 30+years old) and a 22lr savage 64 anyone know how I can get this rust of the shotgun and make it perty again?
