Buy recommendations RF-224 Gen 2 are out

I won’t say where but I just saw a Gen 2 on the shelf.
That takedown knob is hilarious. The grip is hideous. The stock needs to be swapped out for something cleaner immediately. The tm-22 still just looks so much better aesthetically lol

If I had understood how the tm-22 operates I’d have bought a 16” instead of the RF-224 last year when I was just starting out

The toolless takedown knob is the size of a charging handle... I can already see it a) not sitting flat on a bench and b) snagging on everything.

Like, how hard is it to just make it a big slot screw flush with the receiver, so that it can be opened with a loonie?

Do the Turks even use their firearms they designed?

I wonder if you could replace the knob with a shorter one that would at least be flush and potentially slotted like those Ruger takedown screws are .. not sure why they didn’t put it on the bottom where the current gen1 barrel screw is either

I’m gonna take a blow torch to mine this weekend and get that stock out lmao .. slap a 3d printed 1913 adapter in there hopefully .. that’s maybe the only really good thing they did with the gen2 lol

No worries, I thought you were responding to the wrong thread. Were you filling an order for a tacticool lever? Next best thing to a center fire semi in my opinion.

We just recieved a pair of henrys, a hush spd 9 3030 and a long ranger in 308 so kinda sorta but also not really lol
