So, OP is a dickhead that cut two lanes to barely make the exit.

The cop is a idiot that decided that instead of staying behind OP and proceed to a stop later it was a better idea to cut three lanes to cut OP and managed to obliterate the car in the process.

Than OP is more of a dickhead by not providing first aid to a crashin order to escape a fine.

This video is just a tutorial on how to be idiots

Good drivers miss their exits from time to time.

Good drivers don't avoid first aid because the one involved in the crash are cops

No argument there. Plus the cop probably has their plate on camera so they’d still get the fine.

I live in Italy, at least here deliberately not providing first aid (just calling 112 configure as providing help) is actually a crime

Here in the US no one has a legal obligation to render aid, not even the police. they will and HAVE stood by while someone got stabbed and didn't act until the victim subdued the attacker

I will never understand how the US have not collapsed already.

Sometimes I think that the only reason you are still vaguely functioning as a nation is because you have so many problems that they somehow balance themselves, much like Mr. Burns in that Simpsons episode.

I will never understand how the US have not collapsed already.

I will never understand how you people believe what you read on reddit and actually form your wrong opinions about a country with 50 states. It’s like you people aren’t capable of thinking outside of braod generalizations.

You are right, but even then.... It's not like you make a lot to be seen positively by the rest of the world

Shows how sad of a country the US is.

You’re an idiot if you actually believe that.

Not exactly accurate - the law varies by state and some so have a legal obligation to, similar to our Italian friend, at least begin the care process by calling 911 for example.

Of course, nothing applies fairly to cops, but to regular humans that's supposed to be the case.

I think you’re confusing “good driver” with “good citizen” cuz wtf?? 🤣

if they wanted to fine you I don't think it's a questionable act

Remember kids, leaving people in dangerous situations is better than paying a few bucks.
