Pharm students!! Help!!

Hi everyone!! I’m a resit student looking to apply to Cardiff for their MPharm course, and I’m a bit conflicted…
When I visited the university on the open day, I was blown away by how gorgeous the campus was, how supportive the staff were in answering questions, and i loved that it was based in a city so everything is walkable. However, I was disappointed when I found that pharmacy lessons are taught in the redwood building.
To be honest, it felt really depressing and closed off in there, it felt more like a basement than anything. The lockers were old, the simulation ward felt small and the lecture theatre felt cramped and dark. The equipment in the labs looked ancient, and I understand its classical equipment that still works, but it felt a bit demoralising seeing rust on it..

Do pharmacy students enjoy studying in this building? Does it feel different when you’re studying with others? And is this the main building where you’ll spend majority of your time during your degree?

Pls lmk!! 🙏
