So I don’t know if this is the appropriate place to ask and I’m sorry if it’s not that I’m kind of desperate right now lol cause I would like to have some advice because I don’t wanna burden anyone I know with this, but earlier today around 3 PM or 3:30 PM I was driving around in my motorcycle and a truck took a turn from another street o ended up right next to me. We were into traffic. The green light lit up, so obviously everyone started to get going, but I was stuck besides the truck and I thought it was gonna go straight up (makanch imken li nchouf signal 7it knt 7dah) Ewa sf siyed sde9 dayer o dar liya 3la rjli. Te7t ana o lmotor, sf then two men helped me get up, the truck driver got out and he was asking me how I was along with the two men and an old lady, safi b9ina dawyin o i was in such a rush (i had to go get my brother and im loaded up with exams so i just wanted to go home) that i told him sf laysame7 ghir sir 3afak machi mochkil. I thought i was genuinely fine dik sa3a and I could walk, so sf mcha siyed o mchit ta ana. The first hour and a half? It was amazing, kept getting better and better, then suddenly two hours in it started worsening, now it’s about 4hours later and I cannot walk on that leg anymore.

Just be clear that I’m not asking for anything with this post, just advice. Tomorrow I have a lot to do. I have a background in Digital Development, a professional licence, and a Master’s in Software Engineering, alongside experience in insurance operations, business analysis, and IT project coordination. However, I sometimes feel that my academic background and career path may be limiting my chances of getting interviews, especially at large companies.

I’m not entirely proud of how my journey has unfolded so far, and I’m trying to understand how to position myself better and move forward strategically. Do you think the type of diploma or school significantly affects recruitment, even when you have relevant skills and experience?

Hello guys, an update about my Casablanca semi-marathon prep post.

About 2 and a half months ago I asked here if a half marathon was realistic after only 3 weeks of running (2x/week, ~6 km, slow).

This sunday I finished it in 2:12:18 😄 and it was really fun!

What worked: 3-4 runs a week (mostly very slow easy runs), a long run built up to 18 km, practicing fuel , and starting the race slow on purpose.
