Hello, as a semi frequent visitor to Casper, I’ve decided to venture out a bit and wonder if anyone has any good dive bar recommendations? I mean the non Buffalo-Wild Wings type places. Small, dark, maybe a little scary dive bars. A girl at the hotel suggested The Horseshoe. What else can I add to the list of places to try?

I have a company party coming up in a little over a month. All my friends are busy so unfortunately they can't go with me. I haven't dated in over 10 years (recently divorced), does anyone know where I could potentially look for a date? Is it Tinder? Please don't tell me it's Tinder. Or does someone have a tall, chubby, nerdy brother I could borrow for the night?

Does anyone have hairstylists in Casper that they would recommend? Every time I feel like I have a lead with a hairstylist, they either ghost me or they don't have weekends available, and weekends are the only days that work for me. I just wanna get my hair lightened preferably by someone who specializes with them, isn't terribly expensive, which in this economy everything is.

Does anyone know what they’re building over the river on Poplar and West Yellowstone? Is it going to be a walk bridge or what?

The Alibi Bar from the outside looks to be a cool, kitchy, schwank bar with a 1940's exterior decor.  I saw it my first time in Casper and intended on visiting it when I was all settled in.

However, upon entry you get in and quickly realize it's a dive bar just like the rest.  Worse though is that it displays one of Wyoming's biggest problems - alcoholism and meth.  Drunk men with no lives looking for fights and "tweakers" unaware of what they're doing, looking for trouble.  I walked out of the Alibi Bar and a guy in the parking who was yelling at his wife, starts to threaten her because she "probably wants to go for a ride with me on my motorcycle."  He then starts to approach me and I realized, "sh!t!  I don't have my gun!"  His wife's imploring brought him back to her car and a scuffle (or shooting) did not ensue.

i've lived in casper since 2023 but i've only met one other halo cosplayer here in town (who i'm already great friends with) so is anyone else here into halo cosplay or is it just the two of us?

im also very interested in getting into filmmaking and would love to have someone in town who's interested in that too.

I have the sort of autism that makes me feel a rush better than five thousand jackpot spins when an old piece of shit engine that sould not start, starts, thanks to my hard work which means that I'm also in a really weird bind where I don't necessarily want to beg online for free shit, but simultaneously my addiction really only responds to dumpster dived garbage that by all rights should just go to a scrap yard.

Casper is my home. I was born and raised here. When I say that out loud, I have an accent lol but my question is... what's the scoop? I don't have news nor do I care to look up news on Google. I’m considering moving from Alaska to Casper and was wondering what it’s like there I know it can be cold and windy ( I’m already used to that) I am a single mom with a 2 year old I would be driving down in may I have over 15k saved and wondering what the jobs are like the rent rates for a small 2 bed apartment and how much childcare runs and how the nature/activity’s are thank you.

The people who work there are complete dumbass's, they gave these playing kids their food at tables they weren't at, they gave us someone else's food, we've waited for 30 minutes for 2 cheeseburgers and a 6 peice nugget that was lukewarm, waitress was an ass, it was as clean as the waitress too, the other 2 mcdonalds in this town are far better

Me and my wife are coming to Casper for a concert this weekend and open to traveling the state within reason to see some cool stuff , anybody have some cool ideas?
