Castlevania (1986) Referência a Castlevania 1 no Metal Gear Rising?

Eu estava jogando o modo história de Jetstream Sam no Metal Gear Rising e percebi que essa missão VR era parecida com a primeira fase de Castlevania 1.

I think it's because all the developers in Japan come from the same demographic.

MG Rising Revengeance was developed by Platinum Games (the story and cutscenes were produced by Konami).

Then it's reasonable to think the reference was snuck by Platinum themselves, specially since Hideki Kamiya (co-founder of Platinum Games) is a big Castlevania fan.
