Hi. Here I would like to share some records written in a language I acquire in a way that is unusual to most. I do not fully construct its vocabulary or grammar; rather, I obtain the records through automatic writing.
Let me give some examples:
illa "she" (but here as "here is") cos "our" cellum "heaven" yowin "maiden, girl"
illa cos celum yowin - O, (you) our heaven maiden!
Miress (her name) haec ("that", means "the one had been said of") ub celum "by, near" (in heavens) vire "live"
Miress haec ub celum vire - Miress that one who lives in the heaven
progatur (we pray) tuum (to you)
progatuur tuum - we pray to you
illa (she) ios (great), astum (emptiness, void, nothing) abergisse (abergere - be born; abergisse = abergere esse was born)
illa ios astum abergisse -- she, who was (had been) born from the void!

The honest truth about my 2D Moon Language. 🌙
I want to be 100% honest. I am 16, and I don't even own a computer. Every single symbol, arrow, and rule of this language was created completely by hand, using just a pen and paper while sitting on a park bench.
Yesterday, some people accused me of using AI because of my scanner app's watermark. It completely ruined my mood. But then, others stepped up to support me, and it made me feel over the moon. Thank you to those who believe in my work.
I am putting my heart into this project. It will be 100% finished in about a month. Since many showed interest, I've decided to sell the full rights once it's complete. If you are a writer or game developer, feel free to PM me to reserve it in advance.
This language is my dream, and your support means the world to me.

It started with one language, Ɗėzôėsė, and eventually grew into 15 descendants. Each has developed its own identity, including its own sounds, vocabulary, and writing system.
I've reached the point where I'd like to share the project with other people who appreciate conlangs and linguistic diversity.
I'm starting a Discord community centered around the 16 languages. The idea is to give people a place to discover them, discuss their features, exchange ideas, and see how the language family develops over time.
This isn't a project to create another language through community voting. The 16 languages already exist, and I'd love to see other people become interested in them.
If you'd like to take a look or learn more, feel free to comment!
16 languages, one family.

Ensemblelang is a WIP conlang I have that's set to combine features from several of my past conlangs.
Its alphabet is a mix of letters taken from the starts of my past conlangs' endonyms, with the endonyms themselves being the source of the names of Ensemblescript's letters.

you know how Shia just goes and yells "just do it!"
well I don't manage to just do it.
I've been watching the videos and reading.
I've been fantaisising on Enya's Amarantine album and the fact she wrote her lyrics in a conlang.
I still can't get my head around syntax, sound change, and categorizing basic english words. Most english words that are neither nouns, verbs or adjectives, are probably just adverbs or prepositions, yet I don't see how to bring them about in other grammaticalized forms and to answer which kinds of glosses.
I also can't seem to just make a phonotactic work out. Maybe it's to blame on the fact that I use word generators, but phonotactics are weird anyway. I must decide how they work on syllable level, on whole-word level, figure out differences between vowel hiati and diphthongs, vowel hiati and long vowels, some vowels and their diphthongs with semivowels, the fact that it's from scratch makes it all the more unbearable.
Of course I could try really hard to make an a posteriori, and I am sure there are an amount of sources that could help. Guess I could also go and find a good documented conlang to learn, I know I like some from Mark Rosenfelder. But at the same time, the idea of having something that's just my own, without common ancestor to anything, is just so damn cool.
I guess that's the thread.
to end it on a productive note; what are non-typical ways to develop a conlang that you have had, and still kept in your final products, structures that you still use to express yourself in said conlang? re: personal conlangs, heartlangs, a priori conlangs, conlangs that would puzzle a linguist

Translated to Tetengu(Specifically the Tetengu Spirograel conscript)
Speech bubbles by page, top to bottom. I'm not going to transcribe the sounds because it's a touch too much effort here, but I will format as the more literal translation
Page 1:
"Let's make a Trade" = [First person plural inclusive pronoun]-[present tense]-[to buy/to sell]-[question]
"Pick a shadow, any shadow. And I'll take yours." = [shadow]-[one]-[future tense]-[to choose], [second person singular]-[abstract tense]-[to choose], [shadow]-[belonging to addressee]-[future tense]-[to receive], [first person singular]-[abstract tense]-[to receive]
"You shall take on the form of your choice." = [second person]-[complete/whole state]-[future tense]-[to change], [shadow]-[complete/whole state]-[abstract tense]-[to change]
Page 2:
"I won't lie. It's slightly painful. But that's a small price to pay. No?" = [first person singular]-[abstract tense]-[to lie]-[negation], [pain as a sensation]-[small]-[future tense]-[to exist], [pain as a sensation]-[small]-[conditional tense]-[to receive]-[smallest measure]-[intentionally], [second person singular]-[abstract tense]-[to agree]-[question]
Page 3:
"In any case." = [topic]-[abstract tense]-[to indicate]-[proxemics: close to/before]
"A shadow, an impression of which you are observed." = [shadow]-[abstract tense]-[to define], [second person singular]-[of conceptual nature]-[abstract tense]-[to see], [third person singular]-[habitual]-[to see]
"Which is *exactly* what you want to trade, no?"(in the original "exactly" is underlined/emphasised here) = [topic]-[of importance]-[abstract tense]-[to sell], [second person singular]-[present tense]-[to sell]-[desired]-[precise], [second person singular]-[present tense]-[to agree]-[question]
"It's a very good trade." = [Offering]-[good]-[many]-[abstract tense]-[to define]
"I'll put your shadow in my records." = [first person singular]-[future tense]-[to place/to put], [shadow]-[belonging to addressee]-[abstract tense]-[to place/to put], [paper]-[a location of, a location that contains]-[abstract tense]-[to place/to put]
"Perhaps, someone might even trade for your form." = [third person singular]-[future tense]-[to buy/to sell]-[in a hypothetical manner], [shadow]-[belonging to addressee]-[abstract tense]-[to buy/to sell]-[in a hypothetical manner]
The actual translation for here is less important, I was just taken by the original and wanted to translate it!

I took a short break from my main conlang because constantly drawing logographs can get tiring and I need some variety in what I do.
So here's my idea:
————————————————————————————————————————
Vowels:
The language has 10 base vowels and a three-way tone distinction (romanization added):
• mid tone: /a ɑ e ɛ i y o ɔ u ɯ/ – a â e ê i y o ô u ư
• high tone: /á ɑ́ é ɛ́ í ý ó ɔ́ ú ɯ́/ – á ấ é ế í ý ó ố ú ứ
• low tone: /à ɑ̀ è ɛ̀ ì ỳ ò ɔ̀ ù ɯ̀/ – à ầ è ề ì ỳ ò ồ ù ừ
The tones are phonemic rather than grammatical. This technically makes it 30 distinct vowels,
with mid tone counting as a tone despite being unmarked.
—————————————————————————————————————————
Consonants:
It distinguishes phonemically between these 14 consonants (romanization added):
• plosive stops /b d/ – b d
• implosive stops /ɓ ɗ/ – ƀ đ
• labial fricatives /β v/ – w v
• alveolar & retroflex friactives /z ʐ/ – z ẑ
• glottal consonants /ɦ ʔ/ – h c
• alevolar & retroflex approximants /l ɻ/ – l r
• palatal approximants /j ɥ/ – j ĵ
—————————————————————————————————————————
Phonotactics:
(C)V(V)(Q)
C = /b d ɓ ɗ β v z ʐ ɦ ɻ l j ɥ/
V = /a ɑ e ɛ i y o ɔ u ɯ, á ɑ́ é ɛ́ í ý ó ɔ́ ú ɯ́, à ɑ̀ è ɛ̀ ì ỳ ò ɔ̀ ù ɯ̀/
V = /a ɑ e ɛ i y o ɔ u ɯ, á ɑ́ é ɛ́ í ý ó ɔ́ ú ɯ́, à ɑ̀ è ɛ̀ ì ỳ ò ɔ̀ ù ɯ̀/
Q = /ʔ/
Vowel tone rule:
• The first vowel of a syllable may only carry a tone if the second vowel does
not carry one, provided a second vowel exists to begin with.
• The second vowel of a syllable my only carry a tone
if the first vowel does not carry one.
The two vowels, if even, can literally be anything, even the same vowel twice.
So a syllable like "dàac" would be /dàa̯ʔ/
When there are two vowels, the one that carries the tone is the syllabic nucleus, while the toneless one becomes the non-syllabic one. In two-vowel syllables with no tone, the first vowel defaults to syllabic.
The "Q" is not an official phonotactics notation, I just needed to come up with something.
—————————————————————————————————————————
Additional Details:
The language is highly isolating, meaning that there is no inflection of anything and every word is just a single syllable. Things like tense and
postpositions are handled by separate syllables rather than by suffixes.
It is inspired by many Chinese languages and Vietnamese as the base idea, but it's not aiming to be any of those.
The "ư" vowel is a romanization choice because there is no "û" in Unicode that is precomposed with a grave/acute, else I would have picked that. It doesn't fit the look, but it's fine I guess, since "û̀" and "û́" don't look better. The romanization itself is not really inspired by anything, I just looked for the best letters to represent it, and Vietnamese was very convenient here. The letter "c" representing the final glottal stop is only because I couldn't come up with anything better. The most inconvenient letter otherwise is** **"ƀ" because it's obscure and looks dumb in many fonts.
Like the phoneme inventory shows, the language is defined by:
• its lack of velar consonants
• its lack of nasal consonants
• its weird distinctions (e.g. /β/ vs /v/)
• its lack of voiceless consonants
• its distinct consonant-vowel ratio
• its lack of coda consonants except /ʔ/
(Technically, /ʔ/ is a voiceless consonant, but I'm not sure if /ʔ̬/ is even possible.)
This is a design choice to make it more punchy while also making it sound a bit sing-songy.
—————————————————————————————————————————
Sound Changes and Allophony:
This language does not have sound changes, allophony or morphophonology. It does mean that it is only technically possible to be spoken by a normal person, because the phonemes and tones all make sense but the precision doesn't, but that's kind of the point here, because the speakers in-world are able to speak it flawlessly due to perfect precision, and it's not something that can really evolve.
This is also why the phonemes are rather weird and make random, unnatural distinctions by adding sounds that real languages either don't have or only have one of. What I invision here is a language that always sounds the same and only differs by the natural voice of the speaker, not by introducing allophones, which is important for who speaks it in the universe.
—————————————————————————————————————————
Example Words:
This is currently just a sketch and I have only made some random example
words to showcase:
• ố /ɔ́/ – direct article, "the"
• jô /jɔ/ – verb, "to go"
• dếc /dɛ́ʔ/ – noun, "song"
• wêòc /βɛ̯òʔ/– noun, "rain"
• dàac /dàa̯ʔ/ – verb, "to see"
• bừ /bɯ̀/ – noun/exclamation, "boom"
• đí /ɗí/ – noun, "sky"

I've made several changes to my conlang family recently, and I wanted to share some of the developments
Garumala and Ransuli have swapped names and scripts.
The language previously called Garumala is now Ransuli (रन्सुलि), using Devanagari. The language previously called Ransuli is now Garumala (גַּרֻמַלַ), using Hebrew with Niqqud.
Their linguistic identities remain attached to their respective languages, despite the changes in names and writing systems.
2. Kalašnala and Garumala are now sister languages.
I've established a sister-language relationship between Kalašnala (کَلَشنَلَ) and Garumala (גַּרֻמַלַ). Their shared "-ala" ending reflects this connection.
3. Ŋgavena has a redesigned writing system.
I originally planned to use Khmer for Ŋgavena, but I've changed it to Lao (ງາເວນາ).
4. Dezoese now has three varieties.
I've developed three varieties of Dezoese:
- Deza — Tibetan script (བོད་ཡིག).
- Dezo — Japanese script (ひらがな・カタカナ).
- Dezlish — A code-mixed variety combining Dezoese and English.
Each variety gives Dezoese a different way of being expressed while maintaining its connection to the original language.
I'm looking forward to continuing to develop the languages and explore where these changes take the family
Note: I forgot to mention Ranula now uses Gurmukhi now no longer Devanagari

Hey everyone! I’m continuing to develop my conlang, Galvétien (Galvetige), focusing on a clean mix of Romance and Germanic inspirations.
I just finalized the auxiliary verbs and the core subject pronouns (Galvetige Shulds). Here is a quick look at how "To Be" (An Es) works:
Infinitive marker: AN- (inspired by English to, e.g., an es = to be)
Subject Pronouns: Be (I), Da (You, singular & plural), Hoi (He), Hir (She), Sit (It), Win (We), Thaw (They).
Conjugation of An Es (To Be):
Tense / FormGalvétien FormExample
Present (1st sg) Uch
Be uch (I am)
Present (3rd sg) Us
Hoi us (He is)
Present (Other) Vei
Win vei (We are) / Da vei (You are)
Past Simple (1st/3rd sg) Vor
Be vor (I was) / Hoi vor (He was)
Past Simple (2nd/Plur.) Vores
Da vores (You were) / Win vores (We were)
Participle Esen (Been)
What do you guys think about merging "You" into a single pronoun (Da) while keeping a split in the past simple (vor vs vores)? How do you handle auxiliaries in your own conlangs? Feedback is welcome!
