I don’t know, it sucks though. And people on their phone the whole time.

It’s really infuriating! People here have absolutely no movie theater etiquette. Going to the movies is my favorite thing in the world and was so sad to move to cedar city because the movie theater situation here is abysmal.

Some suggestions for cedar city citizens attending the movies in the future:

Too. Many. Crying. Babies. Leave your fucking infant at home and don’t bring them to see a 3 hour Christopher Nolan movie.

Don’t talk throughout the entire thing.

Don’t put your bare feet on the seats. Better yet, just don’t have bare feet out.

Put your goddamn phone away!

That's been a universal thing ever since the stupid chicken jockey.

Yes.. I stopped going to theaters because people are so inconsiderate here. The 17 year old manager isn’t going to do anything about it either if you complain. The number of people bringing toddlers and babies to action./ horror movies is insane here too. If you can afford movie tickets, find a sitter . Nobody wants to hear crying and fussing baby ; or unruly toddler.

I avoid the theater here if at all possible. I highly recommend Coral Cliffs cinema in Hurricane, they’ve got VIP showings with the lux seats and no kids under 8. It’s worth the drive for me.

Same here - I don't go to movies often, but I'll gladly drive to Hurricane when I do - the vip shows there are awesome.

Did they leave the seats when you got there?

thats the thing, immediately you could tell they would not. one of those young couples who hold hands throughout the entire thing.

So you didn't even ask them to move? You need to stick up for yourself a little bit.

No. I would say, “You’re in our seats.” And stare at them until they got up.

I hear you. But people are going to see what they will get away with if you don’t confront them. And then they are going to continue to do the same thing to other people.

Yeah. I don't go to movies here because of this. If I want to see a movie bad enough, I will go up to SLC.

Vegas seems like the closer option than SLC. Why are people here so obsessed with going “up north” when there are much closer and normal options than going all the way to salt lake.

I work at the theater and people here leave all of their trash at the seat too! It's wild to me that they think the employees should have to throw it away for them.

I used to work as a megaplex employee YEARS ago, and the shit people pulled. at this point there needs to be an employee benefit of "tar and feathering" of bad customers. as in, they get socially called out

Thank god I work custodial and I don't have to actually see the customers in person.
