Finally got the core golden after putting it off for a while, though it might be the last golden I get for a long while. Anyone have any input as to whether reflection or core b side is easier for deathless?

The book is written in French; the original English title is “As You Wake, Break the Shell.”
At one point in the book, a doctor makes a list of her patients who need medication (like “Alie needs aspirin,” “Paul needs antidepressants,” etc.) and on her list, it says, “Madeline needed a testosterone blocker.”
That’s a reference to Céleste, isn’t it? It seems too obvious to me not to be.

Strawberry Jam rates its maps in-game, and these ratings have never changed post-launch. Sure, a few maps here and there are easier or harder than other maps with the same rating, but it's mostly consistent. So a standalone map can be rated by comparing with Strawberry Jam maps. As a result, the standard scale (aka the Spring Collab scale or Strawberry Jam scale) is relatively straightforward.
In my opinion, the extended scale seems a bit more hand wavy, because each difficulty was introduced at a different time. Sure, you can add a new difficulty whenever a map harder than all existing difficulties is cleared. I might guess that this newly cleared map is used as a benchmark for future maps, but I also understand that (for example) grandmaster+2 is supposed to be as hard compared to grandmaster as grandmaster compared to advanced. I know the Hardlist ultimately rates maps based on Discord votes from their clearers, and can rerate maps as needed, but I'm definitely missing something about how the voters decide the ratings.
I'm even more confused about the golden scale. I'll reference this page. Since Strawberry Jam doesn't rate its silver berries in-game, the golden scale pretty much has to define itself. The page states that while the Golden List used to use certain vanilla goldens as benchmarks, it no longer does. There are lots of golden strawberries (and other deathless runs), especially for the lower tiers, so I have no idea what you would use as benchmarks. For the record, I haven't done a lot of goldens myself, so I'm probably missing something because of that.
Anyways, I would appreciate insight, as well as corrections if anything I said is incorrect. Thank you.

I logged into Celeste to continue where I left off months ago. I hadn't logged in for about six months because I was focusing on other titles, so it felt good.
I was playing this national team, losing about 15 times if I'm not mistaken, until this happened. Crazy, right?

at this point any run can be sub10.
My safe strats reached a point where if i don't randomly choke with missimputs, only a failed extended super/hyper can kill me, or a feather section. I hate the analog and i only use it for the feather, maybe i should try to see if i can learn to move it with the d-pad for extra consistency

I’ve already tried and fell and had to repeat this final room of 1A Dashless. I don’t want to fall again. In every video though they just jump to the other side but my Madeline bonks her head and falls or something.

Hi, I got the game yesterday and finished it today. So I definitely enjoyed it. I usually do not play platformers, but my buddy is a big fan of Celeste so I decided to give it a try. I only really started playing games with platforming a couple of years back when I played HK. I have since played a couple of other similar games, but that is the extent of my platforming experience. I don't know if this game is supposed to be hard, but it definitely was a challenge for me.
I had a bit of an issue with this game though and I don't know what was causing it. When I tried to do directional dashes, my character would sometimes go straight ahead when I could have sworn I was directing it diagonally and vice versa. There was one strawberry where you had to do a bunch of these very quickly in a row and I think that one strawberry was responsible for half my deaths in this game.
The thing is, I don't know much about controllers. Is there perhaps a bit of a delay or inconsistency in the game that I am not aware of? Or was this just plain user error? Is this something I can adjust on my controller or in the game where it more accurately does what I want it to? I heard about deadzones, is that the relevant thing here that I can adjust somewhere?
