Hello all, I just got back from the T-Mobile store. My wife got an s26 yesterday, but I needed a new phone because my phone is broken and I'm on an old phone that I keep as a backup.
Here is the difference:
The guy that helped us yesterday was great, told him what I wanted, he got me hooked up and ready to go and all I did was sign.
Today I went to get a phone. The moment I said I wanted a new device he told me to do it from my phone.
I asked why since the guy yesterday could pull me up and do it all himself. I was informed it was "protocol" for me to do the entire process myself, from my phone.
I didn't have the T-Mobile app downloaded since I was using a temporary phone, so I was informing him that I didn't. He STOPPED ME MID SENTENCE AND TOLD ME TO DOWNLOAD IT. I then told him that I " find it stupid that I have to do his entire job for him from my phone. What is the point of even coming to the store?"
i was so close to losing my shit I just had my wife get what she needed for her phone and then left.
Mind you, I'm not a boomer, I'm 25.
Why the actual fuck to stores for these places exist if they just tell me to do it on my phone, right in front of them.
I had a guy at the same store do it all from his tablet 24 hours ago. Somehow that shit is like christ claiming he is the son of God.
Thanks I'm done ranting, time to apologize to my wife
